If you had done that and he hadn't of died, you'd still be waiting...20 books later. Have you read any of the Conan books he wrote? Very awesome!

He was suppose to have been working on the last book in the wheel of time series when he died. I think somebody is going to finish it based on the what he had written and his notes but that could have been just rumors too since I don't have any inside information. lol

I have read his Conan books. He did a good job of keeping the character pretty close to Howard's original. I love the Conan books. I have all of the original Howard stories and some of Jordan's. There have been some other writers that have done some good Conan stories. I hated the movies, I thought they missed the whole essence of the character.

Cool to know others like these kinds of stories.

Welcome to the thread! I'm not really a DC local, so I can't give any help on where to hang out. I do know that the 9:30 Club has great concerts and is a fun place to be from time to time.
