Funny that...I had the same idea a couple of months ago...I may still try it, although with my luck I'd just get the suds going when the rain would stop...not sure how the neighbours would take it though

The trick is to take out a bucket of water that you have captured from the washing machine...already has the suds component added.....and if the neighbours are concerned, explain how you are recycling your water!
