I was almost tempted to put on the gumboots and grab a sponge and give the car a once over using the available rain to rinse...... :D

Funny that...I had the same idea a couple of months ago...I may still try it, although with my luck I'd just get the suds going when the rain would stop...not sure how the neighbours would take it though

The trick is to take out a bucket of water that you have captured from the washing machine...already has the suds component added.....and if the neighbours are concerned, explain how you are recycling your water! :nana:

exactly what I did this afternoon, and now both mine and the wife's car are squeaky clean again for the first time in eons...honk your horn when you see me on the road, you can't miss me among all the dirty bangers.... :)
