Mid-westerners Lit gathering - 2004

Ok, I'm new here by many standards, old by some. When I first posted, I really thought I was the only Mid-west Lit. person here. How wonderful to find such close dear freinds. More all the time. So what I am proposing is a summer get together for interested Mid-west folks. Get to know each other face to face, laugh, have a few beers and tell some tall tales.

We can work out the details as we go along and take it from there. I for one would like to speak and give a hug to some of my favorite people here. How about you?

I touched them up a bit, but that program has limited capabilities that way, I'm not real happy with that as I've learned to use it. Gonna talk to my puter guy and find another for editing/enhancing photos. I'm an amatuer photo freak, I'll have to send you some of the scenic pics I've taken, if you're interested.

Don't go gettig crazy on me now!!! LoL

I had puter classes back in the mid '80's when I went back to school, but they were on old Apple's and basic spread sheet crap.

Learned CNC machining OTJ and everything else with this from trial and error...lot's of those. LMFAO!!!

Isnt there a place which I think maybe Kayte knows of .. its close to the top of Ill and the bottom of Wi (hey don't ask me for directions you could/would end up god knows where) but anyhow this area is used lots for Ren Fare's maybe check into something like that ......

Well there is a Radison Hotel, with a Chancery restaraunt right off of the interstate, I-94, just over the IL/WI border. It is essentially across the "I" from the Ren Faire held in Bristol.
