And in the realm of general nerdery, I give you The Evergreen Supertanker.

You know the airplanes used to fight fires? The flying boats and modified transport planes and such? These guys are making one based on a 747 jumbojet. I am amused and awed.

So, they are releasing the Sonic the Hedgehog cartooon (the cool cyberpunk one, not the goofy but fun slapstick one) on DVD next March, and they have a fanart contest (which ends tommorow) for people who want a chance to have their Sonic fanart featured on the DVD sets.
