It's not your fault. It was a kind of a longshot to begin with and then Ponder was unable to play forcing the Vikes to start a quarterback with no nfl experience. That pretty much sealed the deal before the game was even played.
Green Bay got lucky here.

Well, for one thing, what does Rodgers alleged "pure skill" have to do with yards gained by a receiver after they've caught the ball.
For another thing, what does Rodgers alleged "pure skill" have to do with the yards gained by the running back after the ball is handed off.
What does Rodger's alleged "pure skill" have to do with the offensive line, for the most part, protecting him from getting his head bounced off the turf.
In this case, I will say that the absence of Ponder at quarterback did greatly minimize the Vikes chances of winning as this backup had not thrown a single pass during the season and less then 60 the season before. So there was no continuity and no familiarity. If this was a regular season game, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but this was a one & done, lose or go home game, so the expectations, stakes and pressure were a lot higher.
I'm not saying that with Ponder the Vikes would have won, but the odds would have been better.
Add to that, because of Rodgers alleged "pure skill", he threw for only one touchdown and the Pack won by only 14 points. Not very overwhelming, spectacular or significant in my eyes.
But the next game will b very telling. The Pack get to play a real team in the 49ers who have not only a tough defense, but 2 (two) competent winning "skilled" quarterbacks.

IT was SKILL and yes...it did help them that Ponder was out. But GREEN BAY did not get lucky. They would have won that game even if Ponder hadn't been out.
And Aaron Rodgers is an awesome QB. The Vikings want to be like GB. (I mean.....look at when they took Favre........too bad Favre wasn't like he was when he was at GB.

not helping...at all.
You're still downplaying how great the team is. Granted, the team has had its share of struggles...but every team has.
They showed a graphic on Saturday, showing Aaron's numbers (percentages) and he was ahead of Bart Starr, Brees, and crap...someone else. I can't remember who.
Rodgers can and has proven he can compete with Brady, Peyton, and Drew.
