That's a pricey problem!
I'm guessing the cabin and all of that tech gear aren't designed to withstand the pressures of ice as well as the hull.

I don't think ice was the issue, I think the big snowstorm was and the boats were overloaded.

I know what you meant about the snow making the boats top heavy.
I meant that the parts that are submersed now probably weren't designed for the horizontal pressures of shore ice, or immersion in salt water.

Oh, heck no. They are salvage, now.
 
Yikes! We had 40f today! Ice fishing is over, there was one week of ice fishing this winter.
We might get cold later but not in the foreseeable future.
The other weird thing that’s going on is that Chicago has been colder than Minneapolis. It’s a weird winter.
However sometimes it snows in April.
I'm not from your area, but I certainly wouldn't say that winter is over.
