Loyal and affectionate to friends and family? Yes - I have a rather small circle of friends (between face to face and via Internet) and do cherish them all without end.

Starts decorating the house for the holidays? Well, I usually need a kindly reminding nudge from my wife. *lol*

First to invite neighbors for a barbeque?Not really - but they invite me - I'm the first one in shorts and barefooted as Spring comes around (and the first to sneak outside naked to enjoy a sit in the refreshing nightime breeze - truly).

Resisiliant and resourceful? Yes, although I'm hoping the payoff will continue growing.

Open book / what you see is what you get?Well, my exhibitionism definately goes deeper than skin. *g* I am pretty much an open book to most and completely open with my close friends, trusting these relationships to bear even disappointment in telling the truth of my heart, but never turning away from their feelings.

In HS (in the era of sockhops, war protests, and The Beatles) ... I played the violin in the orchestra - not much of a marching band instrument. And I was a rather "Shy Sky" kind of guy - it took me some time to ask my puppy-love - oops, make that tabby-love - of a girl-friend to go to the senior prom.

I did note the one question about what would you do if you had four hours alone ... obviously this quiz wasn't developed with our Lit community in mind.

I must share ...

The experience of reading this "page" of our posts here has touched nearly every part of my self. It is a rare, and for me a "sacred" experience, to have so many thoughts and feelings come forth in just a few minutes. For me, at the moment, I'm stirred by what I saw last night ...
This was the fifth time in as many days I saw this orange long-haired cat keeping watch on a chair on our front porch. This looks to be the same stray we had seen hanging around here about 18 months ago when one of our cats became pregnant, who's litter included our recently departed Hercules. The mom and grandma of Hercules don't play with this other cat but they clearly more than welcome his presence. I am moved by the mysteries of his reappearance.
