Ahh ... yes ... Kitty ... about those fish? I've checked with a couple of local pet supply stores about their exchanging those forthcoming baby's for mousie food. Something along the line of "nibblits au Gratin."

I figure this would help find a home for all those fishies while helping to capture those mice. You know, the mice we'll need for that "mouse moule a la can." (Sure sounds more appealing than "rat-tatoullie," don't you think?)

So with this I propose,
We can cast off those woes,
by wiggling our toes
And start this business venture.
Using mouse-meat to feed,
Hungry kitties indeed,
when they greedily plead
Will be a marketing clencher.
It will be hard work
But not without perk
or at least go berserk
Stuffing meat in the can all day.
And best of all Kitty
Thou' mice sure aren't pretty
nor as witty as this ditty
They do make pussy's want to play.
and warm laps another day

ty ty .. my new av is courtesy of Woodmiester.. i love it too !!

i believe she has the babies tucked away at her "owners" house.. i see her sashaying up the road early in the mornings on her way here for breakfast
of which i'm only happy to provide *s* maybe soon the little ones will follow !
i miss having babies around too.. my girls are nearly 3 and 2 and quite set in their ways.

Update
No sign of the kitties yet.. and I'm worried.
However Mamacat left a "present" at the front door yesterday morning.. a freshly killed mouse.
I don't mind.. that's one that won't come in this winter.
