Since you brought up Gary and Gerry, I want to pivot back to a Gary, who doesn't IMHO get the respect he deserves for his playing, and that's the late Gary Richrath. Just an awesome guitarist, formerly of R.E.O Speedwagon. The albums they did in the 70s with him are the ones I still listen to the most, and I've bought their live album four times (vinyl, cassette, and twice on CD). Great stuff!

I absolutely love this song, and the album it was on, Dreamboat Annie, is one of my all time favorites. Up there with Cosmo's Factory, Dark Side of The Moon, Abby Road... just awesomeness.

I've probably spouted off my thoughts on this song before... but I think this particular track is almost perfect. I don't say that lightly. It so good on so many levels. The only thing that isn't perfect is the little guitar solos... they just don't do justice to how powerful the song and particularly this performance is.
