"On the Job" Story Event 2020

HeyAll, I have a story that should be done in time for this. I started the last section yesterday. It will be in Anal.
It may be done well ahead of the contest, but I'll hold it for this one. I have only ever finished a story on time for contest entry once before, so this will be fun.

I just finished my story and ran it by my wife - she said she loved it. But when I got back to the board, I saw that one of the rules was that it had to take place entirely at a place of work.

Well, mine doesn't. When I get writing a story, it kind of writes itself and takes paths I never anticipated. I can say that most of the story revolves around work, much of it takes place at a place of work, and most of the characters are employees of the same place. But it does not happen "entirely" at a place of work. Can I still post it up as part of this "contest"?

Transgender and Crossdressers

I intend on participating in the Transgender/Crossdresser category. I did not see anyone else indicating they would do so, but apparently, there is no official limit per category.

I do have a question about the terms of the contest. I am physically setting it at the worksite, but there are vignettes where I create context that reference events outside the worksite. Here is an (unedited) excerpt:

The second person was Djuan, who worked the second shift, picking orders for our customers. I had met him at the playhouse in the warehouse district, and we only recognized one another after he came all over my face. I had been going down on someone on the darker side of the playhouse and when they had finished and I had cleaned them off, I felt a tap on my shoulder. Perspective being what it is when one is on their knees staring at a cock, it completely filled my field of view. I started going down on him without even looking up at his face.

I feel like that is in keeping with the rules, but would appreciate guidance. I am talking about one or two paragraph references to events outside of work.

violating all sorts of mandates

Heyall

Just a heads up that my story predates social distancing. Tough to come up with a story that heeds that mandate.

Reno

With all the social distancing going on now, I think there will be a big appetite for stories about hot, sweaty contact on the job.

Submit it. Nobody's going to be vetting content down to that level.

I would submit it. I handled the issue with a flashback scene with the main character.

OK. Mine's finally done and about as edited as I can make it.
It's long, so I guess I'll just have to see how that goes over.

I'm almost done with a lesbian story and I need to crank out a mom/son right after.

Hello world! I'm pretty sure this is my first post on the forums here, although I have been publishing stories on LitE for a little while now. I have been lurking AH a bit too (which explains my sig, the format stolen shamelessly from RejectReality). I've decided to enter this Event, as a way to try to interact more with the other authors here. I just submitted my story for publication. The title is "Timepoints" and it will be in the Interracial Love category. I'm, admittedly, a little intimidated going up against SimonDoom, but as long as some people enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed writing it, it will be all good.

Ha!

He's a hack with a strange thing for flightless waterfowl and a skeezy young woman named Suzie. Just ask ElectricBlue66, who's probably laying odds that this Doom guy won't even finish the story in time. Don't worry about him.

And, welcome!

Finished my draft yesterday afternoon. Now I have three days to polish that turd into a story. I hope work allows sufficient time for editing.

It appears I will manage after all to complete a story.

It'll be submitted for Exhibitionist & Voyeur category. I saw at least one entry for the category but not sure if I missed individual postings after that so it didn't seem oversubscribed.

Title will be "Through a Glass Lightly".

"Skeezy? Skeezy? How dare you!" Suzie slammed the door so hard Simon's pencils rattled.

You know, the ones he keeps sharpening because, by God, when those words come, a man's got to be ready!

Suzie sniggered. "Wait till he finds I pinched his last ream of paper. I'm making cranes, one for each day."

Just submitted mine (and it will be my 100th story here!)

I've been editing and re-writing for the last week. I'm going to give it one more read-through tonight and then submit it. (I'm sure I'll miss some typos; it happens all the time.)
