Also, has anyone seen Shaq in the last few days? I have seen him online but he hasn't posted anything though he promised he would. If he doesn't post anything by tomorrow morning, I will post something as Havok to try to keep him active in the thread.

Just as a suggestion, Please try not to just post one sentance posts. I know it is hard when you are trying to hold a conversation, but it also is very annoying to people reading the thread. Remember that the people who are in the thread are not the only ones reading it. I have been PMed by people who are reading our thread and told that only posting one sentance is annoying and the sign of a bad poster. I have read everyones posts even in other threads and know that the latter is not the case but I just wanted to let that be known.

Maybe we should have a minimum requirement for the number of words per post. Like 30 or something.

I don't think we need a word minimum for posting, but some people should take it easy on posting the conversations. What you could do if you plan on responding quickly while your character is in a single conversation with someone else who is also logged in: edit your posts.

Wolverines powers are heightened senses and an extreme healing factor. because of his healing factor he was taken by canada's weapon x project and had adamantium fused to his skeleton, rendering it pretty much indestructible. Wolvering has no memories of his life before awakening from the weapon x surgeries. He also has three retractable adamantium clasw on each hand that he uses as his weapons

First I'd like to welcome Ren. If you're truly Irish you're doubly welcome, as blood always is. Confused? This's the genius little set up of J.D. and Shaq - The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning is the 'hub,' the center of the little universe we're building. This's where characters (Institute affiliated, of course) hang out. Should they wander off into the city, they must start their own thread. Should a storyline come along, a group of people are chosen to take part. They must start their own thread as well. This leaves the Institute in a fairly neutral state, always welcoming to new players and allowing old ones to post as they please. Did that help?

Second, I'd like to apologize for my part in the deluge of posts. As sort've a pivotal player in the unfolding SL, I felt I sort've had to keep up. If I can help out those left behind in anyway or do something in the future to help prevent it, please let me know.

I like the editing idea... to elaborate on what I believe it to be, I think what means is that when, say, dragonrazor and Ankara are posting, instead of adding a new post each time, they would simpy edit their first post. Example:

dragon writes: "Hey," says Cable. "What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?"

Ankara responds: "That's the best line you have?" Pleeease." Replied Kitty.

dragon would go back and edit his post, containing the previous conversation and his addition:

"Hey," says Cable. "What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?"

"That's the best line you have?" Pleeease." Replied Kitty.

"Uh... is that a mirror in your pants?" Stumbled Cable, caught off guard. "Cuz... um... I'd sure like to do you."

The problem with doing it all in a PM is that while you're doing the PM, someone else can wander into the thread and completely negate it all. Then what do you do? At worst when editing your posts like this, only a minor addition is wasted.

A posting limit might help as well. If not a word count, than X number of sentences, or paragraphs, even (Teacher always told me a paragraph's 5 sentences, minimum.)

And finally, not to put a wrench in your plans, dragonrazor, but I've never thought of Cable as a tech guy. He's advanced and knows how to use stuff, but I don't know that I've ever seen him build or invent. Have I really been missing out?

Never wrote that Rogue actually spoke to Shadowcat, just said she was going to help clean up.

Can see Rogue being a bit miffed about the Institute being blasted with gunfire while a supposedly compitent Xmen was standing right there that could have handled the sitution.

Why wouldn't he just think that Tai went beserk and started shooting Jamie. Why would he just figure that someone who was shot in a kitchen had an evil double?
I really don't get why more people didn't freak out on Tai for shooting someone
