OOC / Casting Call: Xavier Institute For Higher Learning

So then why didn't he jump to the conclusion that maybe Kitty just wanted Jamie dead.

because he'd wonder WHY kitty would say something like that...he'd naturally think that it wasn't kitty

also...you didn't ask why Cable took the body?

Or maybe Chihiro is lying since Kitty wouldn't do something like this

keep in mind this is Cable. With all his timehopping, it's very likely he's met both Tai and Chihiro before *shuts his mouth now*

But he knows Kitty as well...

And if Chihiro of the future told him what is going to happen, then I guess he could just stop what is going on...

Wow, that was fun... what are we going to do in the next SL.

Silly Ankara, this is the Dragonrazor Show. His time hopping character would know everything that is going on. That's why it's fun to play with him. He would already know everything about your plan. Though it would have been better for Tai to just say I read her and she doesn't phase, she can change her form. But he already knows who you are and your next move. But funny, all of his characters seem like that too. I know we are suppose to take information from another persons post to shape ours but it feels like you exploiting the information given and magically have a solution for everything. Boy, you are fun to play with.

which is why he would have two conclusions to come to...either Chihiro's telling the truth, in which case it couldn't possibly have been Kitty....or Kitty will be telling the truth, in which case she wouldn't have taken off running

The only character that would know about Kitty's lie would have been Chihiro..
Cable came in and said...

Cable came back in, and shook his head. "Actually, it was, but they had the wrong target. I think this was the REAL Jamie, not the one that's gone rogue. Which may mean that somewhere along the way, we lost someone. Miss Chihiro, you planted a fry command in the data you transferred, I hope? By the way, why didn't you tell them that Xeno could generate non lethal ammunition?"

ah...i forgot i wrote that...it could be he was listening in, but then i'd have to come up with a reason for him to be surveilling the Xmen << *runs off to edit*

I have to apologize to everyone, as it seems my not-so-brilliantly helmed SL is a touch convoluted at this point. Could I get a check on everyone's characters, for everyone's clarity? Where are they and what are they doing? Clear up murky notions that may have formed about your character, etc. I won't dare assume my interpretation of the thread thus far is correct, otherwise I'd give you all my version... So I'll at least go first.

Madrox - One Madrox had been having dinner in the cafeteria before being shot to hell in the kitchen. Another, differing from the other in demeanor and dress(this one's wearing a trenchcoat, the other is not), is in the foyer with several dupes of his own, apparently getting ready to leave.

I think this might be a major typo/misread, as the other Madrox (who's gone from dark to giddy and has been seen nonchalantly walking away from the scene of the crime) has not actually left yet. He's still there. For the moment.

as far as i know, just about everyone's in the kitchen still....Tai's passed out, Cable did a quick autopsy on the dead Jamie, only to find that the tissue was mostly intact....clonable, perhaps....and that Tai's ammo was nonlethal...it's just Jamie didn't expect the force, and the duping i assume made him less durable?

Sorry to hop on the list of people taking up issues with you, dragon, but that's awfully hard for me to recover from. I've written on the assumption that Tai shot to kill, describing a kitchen massacre. There might in fact be a living body or two left. That's plausible. But at this point I don't even know what "nonlethal force" means. Did Tai shoot technorganic beanbags are something? Rubber pellets? An energy thing? How am I supposed to excuse all the gore we've been describing if it's "nonlethal?"

And yeah, when you're charging a brother wielding a gatling gun, I think you'd be bracing for something or other unpleasant. Less durable? I can't think of any good reasoning for that. No precedence, either.

I won't even touch the whole Cable/autopsy/cloning thing.

o_O i am simply going under the concept of the more dupes out there, the less durable the whole is....stretching out, like Billy Numerous, from Teen Titans

Well... no. Mutliple Man. Not Billy Numerous. Comparing super powers is always a bad idea, as you'll rarely find two that work the exact same way. I definitely wouldn't do it across universes like DC and Marvel. They're two entirely different balls of wax.

Really, what I would've like to have seen is a PM telling me that the great mystery ammo was nonlethal, if not a note in the post. I understand wanting to shock and surprise people (*gasp* He was trying to restraint himself! The ammo wasn't meant to kill!), but you've tripped me up.

eh...sorry, didn't mean to do that...i wasn't paying attention, of course....short attention span

Ankara, hun, your PM box is full. How'm I supposed to plot with you if I can't PM you?

Sorry, :D

My box is empty, feel free to fill me in on whats been going on
