OOC: Loa Blood

I'm going to be out of town for a few days but will post up thru the weekend before I go.

Have fun everyone!

Morgoth, you should invent a new brand of beer. I doubt they have that in this world. ^_^

I'll post Kell and Amy tomorrow.

Actually, ST, would you update me on what happened with Hotaru?

Sure. I'll just go and edit that real quick. Thanks!

:nana:

Oh, yes! It returns!

Good stuff.

Okay, Hotaru was Vbabe's short-lived character. She was basically Hotaru from Pleasure Kingdoms. Probably Sejealan because of her colouring. She had a healing Gift, and worked at the local hospitals, helping people as she was needed. She wasn't a celebrity or anything, but it was well-known that Bay City had a healer, and it wouldn't have been hard for anyone to find her name and picture.

Emergency Services contacted Hotaru to come to the Asylum breakout, a few days ago. She never showed up. She had disappeared.

For a few years now, all over the world, Gifted who go public with their powers have been disappearing. No-one with small physical mutations, only people with real powers. For all anyone knows, this might be happening to Gifted who stay underground, and keep their true names out of the media as well, but we only hear about the disappearances of Gifted who were already kind of famous. Maybe their powers just disintegrate them after a while, maybe their abducted, maybe they go into hiding, nobody knows.

This is why King Dumar was urging the Gifted to use masks and code-names, to keep their identities secret.

So far, Amy is the only person who's seen Hotaru's three attackers, the bandaged guy, and his two animal-helmeted friends.

Do you think the pilot of the helicopter would let Kell go to the Twelve Concert to see if his friends are okay before going to the hospital?

Hmm, that might not make sense. It is his job, after all.

Poor Kell. He's going to be worked like a mule tonight. ^_^

*blush* Sorry, PS... I'll post Amy and just wait on posting Kell, then, since I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with him.

No worries, I'm just going away for the weekend and wanted to have them posted before I went.

And, if you want to check out the frist installment of Young Gods in which I mispelled "approved" in the title, I won't mind any feedback.:D

JC, by the time Kell is headed to the hospital, the concert is well over, and people have already been taken from the scene to the hospitals. He could convince the pilot to go there (which might get them both in trouble), but Amy and Mary would probably both be gone.

Abraxas, here's the way I see it. Monolith patrols for the Crusher Friday night, and finds the gas station he tore apart. The Crusher stays indoors for the rest of the weekend recovering from his change. Monolith does whatever he does for the weekend (keeps patroling, meditates, guards the Coda building, whatever). After (or during) the big Loa Blood shipment scene on Monday, the Crusher becomes active again. Then Monolith can find him and fight him.

I figure they're pretty evenly matched, physically. The Crusher's matter agitation is hotter than normal fire, so it can melt Monolith, which would really hurt. The Crusher can fly. Monolith doesn't breathe, etc, and has the law (military, other supers) on his side. The two of them should be able to bash each other about for quite a while before either of them tires or is seriously hurt. The city around them will take a much greater beating than they will.

And really, after the Loa Blood shipment comes in, I don't need Bay City any more. I've always wanted you guys to go explore the rest of the world.

Mary won't have any problem moving on, it's all she's ever done. But Faith...........Esp since she's getting involved with a Bay city cop.......

Cool! I'm glad you offred to get beaten in the first match, Abraxas. That will work great.

If the city is destroyed (if, I'm saying), then Price would have to move on too.

well, Monolith has spent years learning control. It's gonna take unleashing his rage to fight a creature as powerful as The Crusher

Well, actually, Amy might go to a hospital and try to help out again...

I dunno what Mary will do though. PS?

Aww, man. We can still do stuff with Bay City! Do we have to leave so soon? ^_^

Well, there is a major plot coming up for one of my girls, but I think it's too soon to let it out of the bag as yet.....

So, you and I and I and you don't have to go....but Kell has to go where the job is.........

Well, anyway, I'll post Kell heading to the hospital soon. I think I'm gonna get some chai tea first though. ^_^

You know, it seems like most of the original heroes have disappeared. I hope they come back from whatever they're doing...

I've noticed that too....

I was thinking it would have been cool if Faith had been taken under the wing of the oringal reporter-type character of the thread...

Well, at first, Kell's post was longer, but I think he's done enough miracles for today. He's ready to pass out for a few weeks. ^_^

I know what he's going to do in the meantime! And it starts with "shop" and ends with "ing"! And guess who's gonna carry the bags? I'll give you a hint: it's not Amy!

Your right, and while you are out there shopping have Monolith pick up something vest like at least so when he carries a girl around she has something to hold on to!
