OOC: Loa Blood

Nice one, JC. You know, if Kell really feels that way about the Loa Blood, he might well decide not to keep working for Coda. Will he turn over the one cannister he saved from the Bees, or will he try to destroy it?

Thanks, ST, I'm glad you liked it.

I know -- I've been thinking about that. The fact remains, though, that Kell is lost and trying to get a stable life, and this is the only thing he feels he can do while figuring out his powers.

Taking on the corporation wouldn't be a very good idea for him right now. He's really only angry because he's frightened...

For now, though, he'll probably be satisfied with keeping Loa Blood in the hands of GAIA rather than in the hands of gangs and "stupid Loa hounds".

Buuut, if GAIA starts making odd decisions, Kell might go vigilante and bare fangs at God. Or God's blood, anyway.

I am soooo POed right now..

I was writing Mary's story for Lit in Hotmail because my word is messing up and a friend pops up on Yahoo and saids "Hey, check out my Profile and tell me what you think." So I do and it overwrites my story!

I back page it to a clean blank sheet.

I will now take deep calming breaths.

I will take a nap and think of better ways to write the story and turn this into a postive.

Whenever Kells makes it back to the apartment he will find a paint bedecked Mary sleeping on the floor in front of a mural she's started on the wall of a vast ice cavern with what looks like a maze of ice lit from within...

Faith isn't doing much either, mostly research on what is going on. She's forgotten about Monolith totally and is puzzled about how so many events were conveintly staged at the same time and is trying to puzzle it out with what she knows of Coda and Cukoo on scraps of paper.

I can post that, but it would seem a waste of space and interupt the flow of what's going on.

Succubus, Faith would find all of Coda's Loa research very well documented, and publicly available (even though she'd need Hope to figure out what any of it means). GAIA is very strict about monitoring all the research projects, to ensure that none of them involve weapons development or human experiments.

Yep, the military research Bront was working on is illegal.

She also finds vague references to "Cuckoo" in various anarchist publications from the last few years.

And she sees a recent article about a child kidnapping ring in Reva, foiled by a mysterious flying man (no photos available). The kidnappers were unharmed, but very frightened, and willingly turned themselves over to police custody.

Morgoth, glad you're back, but could you just take out one helicopter for now? Monolith and the soldiers would have time to react to that before you could destroy all of them.

Crusher is super strong and tough, but not super fast. People still get time to respond to his actions.

Currently Mary is living about four blocks from the part of the docks that house the refguees (four or so blocks further into town was where the chruch burned).

My question is, this fight is happening in the secured section of the docks...So, when and if would she become aware of the firefight? I'm not sure how close that part of the docks are to the part she's near.

The refugee camp is on the beach, which would be separate from the docks themselves. So figure the helicopters and explosions would be close enough for Mary to hear, but not close enough to put her in danger.

When in doubt, convenient co-incidences that connect characters to other characters and plots are good things.
