ooc: the story behind those crazy names...

Perfectly. My favorites are probably Dakkon Blackblade, Avatar of Might, and a few others which I can't remember. My strogest are Dakkon Blackblade, Nightmare, Skyshroud Behemoth, Thornwood Elemental, Neviraly's disk, Armegeddon, Devestation, Wrath of God, Dakmor Plague, and a few others which I can't remember. I use two decks, my Mass destruction deck, which includes immensly powerful spells which do things like kill every creature, every land, every artifact, everything, every spell. The deck also includes immensly powerful creatures. It also has some weak ones. It is a five color deck. My other deck is a modified version of a preconstructed, Breakdown(from nemesis), modified meaning I sucked a few creatures from it and shoved them in another of my decks. It's a green and blue. It has powerful, yet cheap cretures and spell that you use for a quick kill.

My newest characters, Dimo Cross, Seyton Burrfoot, and Cryo, are just 3 of the entourage that came from in dimentional limbo. Other companions he might see are Carissa Fox, Jimmy Runco, blou, or Beamer.

I just recently put in a new character called Sabaka.
Ummm, I mentioned the word sabaka but this is the first time I used it aqs a character.
His name, roughly translated into english means DOG.
It is a russian word, there are a lot of cool russian words actually.
I used to have a dog called sabaka, I know i know, I sucked at names. the last five dogs I have I called cocoa, and they all died with in a month of getting them. It was like i was putting as death sentence on a dog if i called him cocoa.

And, it is pronounced sAbaka with the stressed vowel as the first A, and the aka kinda rolling off your tongue. Thanks for the linguistic lesson, i know, sorry.

For more information on russian names please consult your local library.

Magic

I like the Dakkan Blackblade he's cool haven't played with it much though. Five color decks are hard to play so I keep it down to most one or two colors and if I happen to need a different color for one or two of my cards then I just add in Felwars stone so that I can use it off the other players deck. I love watching most people when I use that or when I pull out a howling mine thats fun. I never knew some people could hate cards the way most do when they are caught holding all of theirs. I liked the picture of the nightmare but never used it. Your mass destruction deck sounds cool though just because I know what most of the cards are that you said and yes that would make a mass distruction deck for anyone. LOL

MAGICMAGICMAGIC!!!

I didn't know you guys played Magic! I love that game! *grins* We're all nerds... YEP! sounds right!

My blue~green deck kicks ass... I set it up a few months ago, and I still haven't lost with it.

let's get down to some creative Tremere destruction!

Bah, Magic, you nerds. Why don't you leave your nerdy stuff to the little kids! (this from a guy who is addicted to starship troopers and dragonlance, prefers RPG video games, takes computer classes and never see's the sun)

you dare to idss magic? *considers calling her best and the Sulkanar tribe out on him*
MAGIC RULES!

starship troopers? nah...
dragonlance? Me? on lunitari? I didn't stow away.. i was those stupid gnomes' fault!
Baldur's Gate... Ahhh.. the first boards I got addicted to. then they closed htose down last flal, now I come here. lotsa fun!
computer classes? who needs classes? i can type 95 wpm lookin at the keyboard!
sun? what's that?

Nobody disses magic and gets away with it(actually they do)

Up in Angband, there is no sun, I blew up the old one, and I am a pro at computers. Anybody here studying Visual Basic? Well I am! The Rushwood Elementals are pretty good. 8 green mana, 4/4, sounds like a rip, right? Wrong. Every turn, +1/+1.

I like my weatherseed treefolk. 5/3 trample green, if it gets put in the graveyard, it goes back to your hand. or multani maro~sorceror... */*, * being the number of cards in all player's hands added up. it can't be the target of effects or spells. green. i hate to say it, but green has the best creatures. hands down. blue the spells, although black is pretty good in both. red had decent spells, but white is kinda wimpy. yeah, you live longer, but you can't kill anyone else. white's good for big games,. lots of players.

Actually, gold, red and green are tied. Red has the big furry monster(unglued), green has the majority of biggies, and gold has the legends. Dakkon blackblade, gold, */*, where power and toughness is equal to the number of lands in play. Big furry monster, Summon the biggest baddest scariest nastiest most terrifying monster you have ever seen(actual words), two halves, left and right, when halves are put together this baby becomes a 99/99. Red.

Gold are cool... there are a few reall cool ones. And the BFMis BLACK! my friend matt has one. you have to have both leaves to put it into play, and it's got a casting cost of either 15 or 21. (and i love that part....)

you see?

oh... and ladychance! Tymora says hi! *tymora is the ladyluck...*

nice to find someone like you!

Tymora

I know who Tymora is lol I play AD&D trust me I have a cleric of Tymora that just loves to get in there and put the badies in there place, besides look at my nick lol Chance is the name of the game after all right? Glad to have meet you to Shila, I like the way you write, maybe we can get a thread going sometime. I bet it will be alot of fun. Course I don't think the guys will know what hit them if we do. I have Synj and Hecate waiting on me to begin one I just haven't wrote it yet I know what I want just not how to write it yet.{Writers block} In case you don't know who Synj and Hecate are goto SRP BB and look up The Convention-Master shows off his pets, thread we are all there.

As for Magic I have one of those big furry monsters I bought it as a gag for a game, lol you should have seen the faces, when I put that baby into play. I thought I was going to die from laughing so hard.

Okay, my bad, it is black. I could of sworn it was red. Wait a second, let me look for it!(10 minutes later)Your absolutely correct, last time I saw it was about two months ago.

Red, Blue, Gold, Green, BLack, White, Cyan, Magenta, Saphire, yellow, Aqua, forest, Glatier, pearl, grey, pink, purple, violet, Rose, Navy, camoflauge, brown, tan, Calico, Hazel...

Will you people please make up your mind!? Your Giving me a headache!? (did I just sound like Rita? How pathetic is that. I remember the original power rangers.)

Magic? A card game where if you had bad luck you could end dead with the first attack?

If you said something like Jyhad/Vampire, then, that card game had a bit more depth...

Names...names...names...

There are so many of them...

Okay. Snowblind is from a Marvel Super Heroes RPG character I made up. We used to play a lot. I did some major ass whooping with this character. His powers are teleporting, blinding touch, regeneration, and ice generation. With the ice generation, he can create body armor, radiate intense cold, create areas of super slippery ice, and create projectiles. His Danger sense came into play after original creation, making him quite formidable.

Any other character's I post are just expendable nobody's...I just make a character up and go along with it.

This thread, if I read the title right, is about the storybehind the characters we use in the other threads. Why are we then talking about the way you like to play Magic?

Titles are simply the beginning. After a thread's purpose is mostly used, the thread becomes an area for conversation.

Besides

The threads give people like us a chance to get to know people that we would never have the pleasure to meet in person. So I like threads like these this way I get to know who you are and what you like. Besides its better then talking sexual fantasies right? LOL I know, I know NOT! But anyway have to go for now Brightest Blessings All.

What's in a name.....

Magic, card games, colors....HUH?

Y'all lost me 'way back on page 1 somewhere. But that's okay, don't tell me, I don't think I want to know....

My registered name in this forum is a mixup of my real name, give or take a few vowels. My characters' names are quasi-original, so far. I've just started here, and so far my feeble brain has been able to keep track of my few characters.

My signature, well, blessed are the peacekeepers, except on Farscape, and as for the fish, if you don't know, I won't elaborate. I may have to use it if I'm forced to hide who I am one day. *wink*

I love it here, so far, and look forward to "playing" with all of you, eventually.

As to the SRP, hey it's fun, but I only "play" there with my main squeeze......
