OOC: X-Men

eep, Jeremy. I don't know what is going on with my computer but I PMed you. If you didn't get it, or them, just let me know.

I Pm

Masume about how she would like to end our roles in the sl.

I think Storm's powers are about to bring Eva down though.

http://www.nbc.com/NBC_First_Look/Heroes/

New NBC drama about superheroes/superpowered humans.

Initial reaction=B

I'm interested.

I hope they don't hijack ALL of marvel's ideas though.

"With great power comes..."
"A change is coming"

Those were the taglines to Spiderman and X-Men.

They even jack the same soundtrack X3 played for its first theatrical trailer at one point.

Some of it was overracted (the cheerleader)

Some of it was fucking cool (the guy who could paint the future getting his hand cut off).

If they do it like Lost, and don't just make it there are super power people, and make it more of a mystery then it could be pretty good.

Still waiting on Masume.

If she wants I could take her with me during the time off period or let her go and have at Mr. Lebeau.

Understandable.

Still wanna know how Fatale responds to the "pink porter" comment.

WTF?

I totally got lost on the thread. You all posted way more than I originally thought. I hadn't even read Masume's last post....*starts reading*

Not really, least not that I thought.

Rogue throws Gambit at Eva and catches him, then sets him down to mess with Fantomex.

Rouge then flies over to "Psylocke" who is actually Fatale, makes a smart ass comment and reaches out to help her.

Least that's where I'm at.

I've posted in such a manner that my characters could be just outside the Academy or near the others location in Germany. Whatever suits you all.

Huh? Have at Mr. Lebeau?... hey now I didnt do anything officer... My hands are clean see...~holds out his hands, then notices that he hadn't put away the ball gag, handcuffs and the cat-o-nine tails~ Oops... um... How did they get there?
~blushes~

*mock gasp*
You know you were supposed to let me take those off before you wandered back in here!

Well there are a couple of ideas I have for how you could be intro-ed.

The mansion is the easiest since it is most known that if people want the X-Men's help they can go there.

Can you think of a good backstory that may have something to do with needing to go to Germany? If so then you could have a good back story and see the X-Men there are perhaps get inspired to go to the mansion to find them.

Whichever way you think is most interesting.

I kinda like Germany. You may not directly meet anyone (or you may, Wizard just ran out of the cabin and Jubillee is around here somewhere) but it would be interesting to explore in the future what you were doing in Germany.

~looks at Vix and shrugs~

Sorry darlin' I just couldn't help myself. Someone said you and I were gonna have some fun and I couldn't help but bring the toys.

You guys can go ahead and continue posting Psylocke out of the story. I’m a bit overwhelmed with and what to post, what not to post so…yeah. You can dump me out if you like.

Hey J.D, this is actually funny how stuff turns out.

Fantomex doesn't know about Sinister, he's talking about someone else but you wouldn't know that.

He's watching you!

*magnifying glass*

Damn you Shaq, get a chance to do a great scene between Gambit and Fantomex and you have to talk to people who are not on now...Sheesh LOL

BTW has anyone heard from Ithica in the last few days? I saw her I believe Sunday night, but that was the last time.

I'm still here. Not really sure what to be posting and wanting to see how things play out between Fantomex and Gambit, and Rogue and Fatale.

I like your new Av Jeremy.

Well Babette was a pop sensation prior to being outed as a mutant, I'm thinking probably in the Trance or Europop scene so it wouldn't the twins could have been in Germany as part of a European club tour. Having them out near the Academy would be easier though.

Well the secrets out.

Everyone in the Marvel U. knows Peter Parker is spiderman.

Ah the new Civil War Comic Book SL. Friend is buying them and lets me read them at work over the weekends. If you read the spiderman comic just before the Civil War begane they dropped hints that the Superhero Reqistration act was going through the congress anyway, they just went public with it after the Explosion. Also they set up the sub plot that Iron Man /Tony Starks may be the benefactor behind the whole mess.

Thank you Ithica, I got the Picture from Uncanny Xman#348 Its the very last page of the comic before all of the letters to the editor and the backorder information. It was the first time Rogue and Gambit were able to strengthen -nudgenudge- their relationship because Nanny, Magneto's robot, negated their powers. This happens right before Gambit's Trial.

The plot is only B grade to me so I'm not going out of my normal buying zone to get spiderman.

Tony Starks as the Benefactor? Kinda dark move for him that would be pretty interesting.

I'm just a little dissapointed with what I feel is editorial pressure to FORCE at least one member of each title to have some sort of conflict.

Like ALL of the X-Men couldnt' be against it (though they were all against similar measures in the past) now Bishop Collossus and others are "warring" with their teamates over it.

It seems forced in that manner.

Ah the luxury of being a comic book writer. You mold the characters around the plot not the plot around the characters. Its almost as good as putting a hero in a position to show that they are dead on the cover -Used to do that to Ghost Rider all the time- but when you read the comic they dont even come close to hurting the character.

Like we said before, this Civil War SL is just a newer mutant registration act, only now it's effecting all of the "super-humans".

Only good thing that I can see coming out of this comic SL is that it will have the marvel universe shook up and that there will be consequenses for Hero's who come out to the public and fight against the ones that dont.
