Now, lets see how Eva likes anti-mutant gooey goodness.

I have extreme dislike for asking anyone to edit their posts, I usually just try to go with it but I'm really skeptical about your last post. J.D and I rped/agreed to the fatale and Gambit exchange in PM and he posted which is why he took control of Fatale and mentioned the damage she did.

Part of the reason is to help conclude the sl but also the jet use was really getting out of control.

Nanotechnology isn't widely available. The X-jet doesn't have nano repair robots so it bothers me that the jet has it. Especially cause I've attacked the jet on two occassions when I felt both were pretty calculated but each time nothing happened so the jet is suddenly invulnerable which bothers me.

I get Rogue being at the weapons systems so it makes sense that she would be in control of the missles but here is how I picture the scene.

Eva flies away and you put a lock on Fantomex.

Eva and Fantomex are connected though so using Fantomex's vision when the jet uncloaks to get Storm Eva transmits the visual to Fatale who teleports on the jet.
Psylocke and Gambit since this and get her to move.

When she's doing this, Fantomex post established Eva is rushing back toward the jet now. So she's flying directly at the jet which is stationary to pick up Storm and now Gambit is distracted from doing that and delaying the process.

Fatale then teleports right to the back of the plane and fires at Psylocke who dodges.

Now, Fatale's concussive plasma blasts misses Betsy but hits the jet causing damage, Eva then RAMS the jet flying from the distance she was and then the impact causes Gambit's dart to EXPLODE and the back of the jet now has a whole suitable for an explosion.


You guys, this jet IS FUCKED UP!

I'm finding it hard to believe that on a depressurized jet which now has a whole in its back and has been rammed from maybe a mile away from a tecno organic SENTINEL (Eva and Fantomex are artificially evolved nano-sentinels) that the targeting systems could maintain a lock on Fantomex and on top of that manage to hit (an autohit in fact ) Eva who should be slightly behind the ship and all things considered in slightly better position to evade a missle than both Fantomex and the jet.

It's not for me to post cause it belongs to you guys but I would think the jet would be spiraling to the ground.

Ultimately, its you guys control your characters and the jet is one of your weapons so you tell us what happens to it.

But if, the jet is rocked by an explosion, a plasma blast, and a direct ramming and the ultimate outcome is Fantomex and Eva are nuked.

Jub & Wraith (who are a lil behind in the thread) are also in Germany ... and trying to figure things out for themselves ... Jub is the only one of the X-Men that know who made the minions ... (I think)

I am just currious how or why Fax is controlling Emplate? Or are they all partners? Hopefully this will be answered in the thread ...

essentially, yes...it makes use of experimental technology. Still, he's right, nanotech wouldn't be nearly as widely used as actual repair robots....lol @ Bear Deterrant

A seeming paradox for science fiction I know. There is a pretty good articile on wikipedia that I'll share before we start the next thread on things that can defy one's "Suspension of disbelief" that thing we do when we surpress the fact that every kind of fiction is not true and just try to enjoy the story.

But when something happens in the story that is out of "realism" for the rules established in that universe then it would be unrealistic for that world.

I suspect Vix's post was a homage of sorts, which was actually pretty funny, but it was so funny I couldn't even wrap my mind around it.

The anti mutant goo actually wouldn't effect Eva much but direct missle blast would kill Fantomex for a while.

I'm going to have to ask if you were planning all along to grab Psylocke like that or just decided to after I was setting up a plan.

Psylocke wasn't the only one on the ground. Vix made it clear that Rogue was flying solo, Gambit and Storm are still on the ground and Rogue is up a tree.

If Fatale can teleport in and grab someone, even a psychic, before anyone can react to what is going on, then why doesn't she just do that with everyone. What was the point in the whole story, when she can do what ever she wanted and get any mutant that was on the list.

I don't remember reading that they were interested in getting Psylocke but they were interested in Gambit and Rogue. So why grab Psylocke? And because Fatale could teleport above the jet why would she just grab the people on the ground. She could open a portal anywhere.

At the beginning the Professor said that he could sense Eva's mind. Why can't Psylocke do the same and influence her? Do you have some plans on how we can win and we just have to push the right key and it will work? Because it is starting to feel like the only way to win or work a plan is to out post you Shaq.

We are encourage to list a character's powers and give a few weaknesses so that the character's are interesting. It was discussed at the beginning with the problem with Wizard because he could potentially just find any spell he wanted and poof, problem solved. Don't we have the same problems with the combination of Fatale, Fantomex and Eva? Or even with just Fantomex and Eva.

Eva can turn invisible, go anywhere she wants, heal Fantomex, monitor where everyone is. Fantomex is basically invincible. If he gets hurt Fatale can just teleport him back on to Eva. Psychic's don't effect him. If anyone attacked Fatale she could just teleport out. She can also teleport large groups and has done so before, repeatedly and hasn't been tired out, but moving one person does? Why didn't she get tuckered out when she just moved Fantomex? Or even just moving herself. And don't say distance because she has gone from Eva to the jet, and moved larger groups further and it hasn't been a problem.

The only thing left is to wait until the other group, that is going after Sabertooth, gets the cure then we give the cure to everyone including the government in exchange for Xavier, Jean, and Scott.

I DM a D&D game and know that sometimes you have to piss off your players to get them in a possition to enact something.


I'm sure there's something cooked up, just give him a moment to get to it.

I have to admit that some of the postings Ive seen on this thread are very questionable as far as what people are posting and having their character's do and the jet that is being used and all, but we are almost done with the SL we can put this behind us and start to work on our new thread.

AB im sorry to see you go, but I understand why. You and Arc got behind in the posts and we did kinda bury you guys. Hopefully you can join up in the next SL because I find your character facinating.

We've put up with alot of setback in this thread and we've all pulled through and are making it work. We all deserve a pat on the back for that. Lets get this Thread done and move on...

Sorry about the feak out, Shaq; but I was really happy with my plan.
I can definately see the problems that can occur because everyone doesn't post at the same time. I guess with all the talk of starting a new sl is making me twitchy. Shaq has been keeping things entertaining; I just want to know how it ends and then we can move on to the next story.

But Ithica, picking you guys off one by one was my plan.

Cable, Deadhand Wizard, Storm, Rogue, Gambit, AND Psylocke versus Eva, Fantomex, and Fatale?

There is no strategy but splitting you guys up, its your job to try to stay together.

Cable took away deadhand and wizard and Cable was a target because of his telepathy.

I'd established before Psylocke's telepathy was a problem so I concentrated my attack on her.


And to be frank, remember me and chronicle were originally the villains of this arc, but as happens, he had rl issues and had to drop out. I'd originally hoped Fantomex, Eva, Dark Beast, Fatale, Emplate, Juggernaut and Deadpool would face you guys giving Fantomex and Gambit one on one time to add something to the story that we may not be able to get to.

So because of sl Dark Beast and Emplate aren't around leaving only three of the originally planned 7 villains to battle. No contest, you guys will win. I was only fighting this battle because I wanted to help Vix and J.D set something up that they are planning to do.


Remember when Fantomex and Eva flew away the first time?

I was going to end Fantomex's part there and continue with just Dark Beast, Emplate and Fatale and just spar with you guys till you beat them.
