Reading your first post on this thread made my think the person was too fast. I would think that at least two or three social meetings in safe places would have occured first. Perhaps this is more how I would approach the possible start of a Dom/sub relationship.

The crop is a great gift, but say at third meeting. personally I would then only contact you probably a week later and ask you to describe your thoughts on the gift and how your thoughts had altered over the week.

I did once have the Story of O on my harddrive. However, with meltdowns and recoveries I have lost it now.

Now if you are having a party......an invitation would be great!

For BDSM erotica, I MUCH prefer Laura Antoniou's "Marketplace" series over the "Beauty" series by Rice.

And if Laurell K. Hamilton isn't _in_ the lifestyle, she's done A+ research. If you like the vampire/supernatural genre read her Anita Blake series, if you like celtic mythos with a twist I recommend the Merry Gentry books.

I know I'm always looking for the next ones to come out in paperback...

Yeah? Me too! I've "done" all of the Laurell K. Hamilton books so far. I love them!!!

First the Anita Blake character and series with a kick ass sarcastic female who is SO up my alley. Guilty Pleasures is in my top three fav fun books ever!

Of course Anita has consistently made bad choices in men. Sometimes the sex seems a little too repetitive. All men's hair is does not fall like a silk curtain on a lady's skin. I love sex but it should always involve magic, it's perfectly magical just the way it is!

Anita like me takes waaaay too much on herself mostly because she is a stand up gal and no one else will.

So far I like Edward, the first Animator she was training. Asher and the Weretiger dude for her the best. Richard is an ass. Jon Claude is well, Jon Claude.

Now the Merry Gentry books with TONS more sex. Woot!

I didn't much like the first book because it didn't really tell me who Merry was and why I should care but they have gotten better.

Again sex shouldn't always involve magic but I love the idea that she can re fertilize fae kind. Which in turn should point out that all the calculated cruelty so touted in the courts is what was killing them.
