Well, I have a great story.

So my modem just flat out stops working, right? At first I think it's AOL, or maybe the phone line, but my modem has always been cranky, and now it's just given up the ghost. 50% chance of effectiveness has changed to 0%. I think the computer just can't detect the port that the internal modem is inserted into, because I whipped out and replaced the modem too many times (which I guess is the equivilent of dislocating somebody's arm and putting it back to get them to notice that they have an arm -- but even resetting the computer wouldn't work unless I did that).

And then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything, and I uninstalled one too many things and KABOOM

Well, my laptop now takes 30 minutes to start up, because it keeps searching forlornly for the PCI bus that I uninstalled and that it can't even detect anymore (it detected it the first time! but I tried an alternate driver by Satan Corp and it sent my laptop straight to hell -- do not collect $200). So I leave it on standby. And now I'm on my dad's computer, "checking my e-mail"! Sneaky sneaky sneaky!

I'll be out of here in like a month. But for a month, I'm going to have to write up posts on my laptop and then transcribe them here. Which I am just about to do. Hopefully not TOO much has changed since my last access. Except for the fact that Dreant is gone. Hmmm... I guess I'll have to add to my post then...

Anyway, just wanting to let you all know I'm doing my best. Everyone take care! I'll be on whenever I can.

Bwaaa. Sorry about that rant. I'm borrowing a different laptop, and I managed to get my laptop running, even though the modem doesn't work.

I hope my post was coherent enough. It got a little hurried. ^_^

Sorry, dudes. Yet more computer trouble. I'm getting it repaired as I type, and right now I'm just hopping on the upstairs computer again just to check in. I hope you are all doing alright without me, heheh...

As soon as the computer's fixed, I'll be back on solidly again. For now, I'm gonna read what ya'll have posted and compose a reply on my not-internet-connected laptop, and then try to transcribe or copy it here so I can post it!

Likewise, I would also like to apologize for the same reason. Had a fellow manager quit recently at the company I work at, and have been working 55-60 hour weeks trying to cover the loss. Its been hectic, lol.

Will continue to do the best I can though. This thread is hardly forgotten.

Just a note....

Just wanted to let everyone know, that I will probably not be posting this afternoon or evening. We have a hurricane bearing down on Florida. So once it gets closer and the weather worse, I will not be online, even though that is where I would rather be.

I will be online and posting again once it has passed. It should hit sometime around 2pm this afternoon. Bonnie is gone which was another one just north of us, that downgraded to a tropical storm. But her friends, Charley (or Clyde as some people are calling him) wil run right up the middle of our area, which for me is inland just north of Tampa.

We're just going to sit it out and try to have a good time while he's here.

Talk to you all again probably very late tonight or sometime tomorrow... Happy Friday the 13th...... LOL

Well we have made it through Frances. We still have some wind and rain..lots of rain, but she is now moving out into the gulf of Mexico and on her way elsewhere. Looks though like we might have one setting up to arrive next weekend though.. Ivan I think is the name of it. We shall see as the week goes on and he gets closer. This is really making for some cruddy weekends. Oh well Hurricane season ends November 1st, thankfully.

Thank god....Labor Day....and finally another day off. Sorry bout the lack of posts all. It's been Literotica wide. Haven't had the time to continue delivering my usually creative contributions to the thread. Will do my best to post sometime today or tonight.

Sorry again, you'd think with the economy in the shitter the way it is, that we could find another qualified manager to hire and relieve some of my stress.

But no....there is a reason the economy is garbage right now. Most companies are realizing that it might actually be more efficient to throw all the stupid people this nation has to offer back on the streets.

Let's see....last I checked I was water soaked, and ummm....completely wrapped around Taren. I'll hafta see how far the thread has progressed and kinda play it out from there.
