Good Evening

Well i am home now when i left Dawn she was resting just finished having her supper of soft foods she had a nice refreshing shower the first one in weeks she only had bed baths but i could tell she did not like them she rather have a shower anytime the Doctors have told me she will be home in 2 weeks time they will arrange for Home Health and PT and speech at home the only thing i need to get is a Hospital bed she wont be able to sleep in her own bed for a while they dont want her to roll over and land on the floor and her Insurance will pay for her to rent a Hospital bed other then that everything looks good i know she will be glad to get home her Boyfriend came to see her today it is the first time he was able to get 2 see her he works out of state and they just got back to Vermont yesterday and the smile she had on her face when he walked in Well i guess that is all the news on Dawn for know Take care. Dawn is doing fine she is resting when i left her about an Hour and a half ago her Boyfriend was to spot in and see her on his way home tonight PT came by today and took her for a very little walk she went about 5 feet and had to rest, her food intake is increasing week by week cant wait till she gets home, I got the hospital bed rented and will be here by the end of this week Take care.Pat

Glad to hear her food intake is continuing to grow, and that she is getting PT, as she can tolerate it. It is so nice to hear her BF was able to spend a bit of time with her.

Sounds like all is moving toward getting her home.

Well there was a little set back today dawn has the stomach flu and cant keep nothing down they have her on IV's she got this late last night and it just went from there all the good stuff that goes with it Yuck i went up today and stayed about 3 hours but she slept the whole time i was there so i dont know if she even now i was there so i came home other then the Flu she was pale in color today of course this flu is not good so they have to keep an eye on her cause it plays with her Blood sugar well you all take care.Pat

P.S. it is my Dinner time.

Man what mixed up weather we are having first it is sunny and 20 degrees then its rainy and 40 degrees, Dawn is doing good she has a little use of her left arm not much but she is gaining slowly, Which is a start, other then that she is feeling better she is back on IV's for the flu I guess that is all for now.Pat

Good evening Pat ~ Yes Mother Nature is making winter very odd all over this year. Guess we got on her bad side?

Glad to hear she is doing well. I'm sure it is all going to take so much work for her. I am glad she is getting some IV nourishment to help her maintain what she gained before the flu.

It is so good to hear the flu is almost just a memory and that the PT and speech therapy are progressing.

Well the wheelchair gives her a bit of mobility for now.

Man what a Friday the 13th this was nothing went my way today, My ride showed up an hour late and after we got almost to the rehab unit the car broke down it had to be towed so i am just getting home at almost 10:30 at night, just a short note Dawn will be home for good next Wednesday she is doing good, she will have a Home Health aide, a Home Health Nurse, PT, OT, Speech and thank god her Insurance will cover it all well you all have a nice evening i need to eat and go to bed i am beat.Pat
