Sorry all i came home and sat down and fell asleep, I just woke up 10 mins ago thinking i was asleep for only 10 Mins, fell asleep for 3 hours i must have needed it will post tomorrow Dawn is doing good keeping things down and working hard to get home. Pat

good morning Pat!

i hear you there about feeling like one has fallen asleep for 10 minutes
when it was actually a lot longer than that. that's happened to me a couple
of times here and there.

i've been back to work after my time off from work but am still thinking
about Goldie and hope she's doing better as the days go on----I do stop in
here to read but not always have the time to post.

Hi Pat ~ I think I've done that too. It is amazing how your body can finally overrule you and force you to get some sleep. You have been pushing yourself so hard; please take care.

Man I Did it again?

Man I did it again I fell asleep again i must have been very tired to do this Twice in a row, Dawn is doing good they are going to try her on semi soft foods on Saturday, She is going to PT 3 day a week and Speech comes to her room she is in a room with an Older Woman that has no family so i visit with her as well her bed Sores are healing up good Her Infection is clearing up, Time to get myself a little something for supper as i just woke up 15 mins ago then shower do the Laundry and go to bed. Pat

I am here with Dawn she is sitting up propped up by pillows eatting her lunch of Mashed Pototoes, Squash Butternut ( Mashed ) and tea nice Lunch huh? Speech came in today it is going to take time for her to get some of her speech back but i think she can do it she is being moved today over to Rehab which is about 2 miles from the hospital the rehab people can do more in her rehab I dont know how long she will be there but i will let you all know. Pat

I am here with Dawn she is looking good her bed sore Infection is gone she is sitting up on pillows watching TV she has this look in her eye that i cant Discribe PT came in yesterday and she walked holding on to the bars about 5 feet then had to rest, Her speech is slow but other then that she looks good they told me i could take her outside in aa wheelchair for a few mins to let her get some air so i did just got back to her room a few mins ago her roommate is gone so she has the room to herself for a while she had her lunch of Mashed Butternut Squash, Mashed Pototoes and tea then i think they are going to give her a shower so she can get her hair washed well i will write more tonight. Well i am home now when i left Dawn she was resting just finished having her supper of soft foods she had a nice refreshing shower the first one in weeks she only had bed baths but i could tell she did not like them she rather have a shower anytime the Doctors have told me she will be home in 2 weeks time they will arrange for Home Health and PT and speech at home the only thing i need to get is a Hospital bed she wont be able to sleep in her own bed for a while they dont want her to roll over and land on the floor and her Insurance will pay for her to rent a Hospital bed other then that everything looks good i know she will be glad to get home her Boyfriend came to see her today it is the first time he was able to get 2 see her he works out of state and they just got back to Vermont yesterday and the smile she had on her face when he walked in Well i guess that is all the news on Dawn for know Take care. Pat
