Well that's one of the things.

I'm borderline agoraphobic and this is gonna really push me way past what I'm comfortable with.
New place
New people
A group class
Possibly unfamiliar equipment

Then there's the fact that I'm really very unfit and I don't know if I'm even going to be able to manage simple stuff.

But I'm going because hiding in my house, being afraid of the world, is getting me nowhere

It's just the unfamiliar. Not having control of where I am or who I'm with. Not knowing the building, the exits etc. If it's gonna be busy and loud and crowded or if it will be quiet and I'd be more vulnerable. It's hard.
Safer mentally at home technically but I know I'm just hiding here.

I got signed up for a membership package thingy. Arrived too late for the class as the local public transport is poo but I still got to have a good look around at the facilities and I asked lots of questions.
I think I'm gonna be ok there. If it's busy I can just get on a machine and listen to some music or something and just do my own thing.
But the state of worry I was in this morning was crazy. I've been tense all day. Anxiety is so rubbish

I've been taking an interest in the Scottish Hebrides and have been shocked by the level of crime. Ten years ago someone let themselves into the unlocked shop on Canna and cleared the shelves of confectionery. Spookily enough in 2024 a copy-cat crime occurred on Jura, but the door was locked and they stole tobacco.

I'll do my best to keep everyone appraised of further developments.🚓👮‍♂️
