Rambling Rosie's Retreat

Evening (other timezones are available) to anyone who might be around

I'm ready for a big glass or two of something nice

I love gin but I haven't had that particular brand before
I like to try different ones. I usually see what's on sale at Binny's Beverage Depot ("The Midwest's Wine, Spirits, and Beer Store") and do a little research on a couple that strike my fancy. This one got good reviews. It has a hint of cucumber, which I am trying for the first time. I'm not a big cucumber fan, so have yet to try Hendrick's. I'm still not a big cucumber fan, even in this tasty gin. I've found that mixing it with an elderflower tonic takes the cucumberness down a notch and makes it really tasty.

That sounds really refreshing actually. I confess I do like cucumber though it repeats on me sometimes.
I like to try different gins but I always find my way back to the classics
