It’s lunchtime here so too late to say good morning. Hope you are all well. I’ve been baking bread and drinking coffee. I am having a beautiful grey rug delivered tomorrow and need to mop the floor

I've got a chicken in to roast and I'm about to get to peeling the taters.

I've got a chicken in to roast and I'm about to get to peeling the taters.

Yes exactly! I have an old wooden floor in the dining room that is worn. A rug will be a better alternative for me than getting the floor sanded and varnished.

Roast chicken is one of my favourites. Enjoy it! I have pork sausages and will make some apple sauce and onion gravy

A friend of mine recently ripped up her old carpet in her living room. The boards underneath are in excellent condition but still need some tlc.
She has adhd though and has done the bit she wanted to do and now has no motivation for the rest.
I suggested a big rug too

I have mowed the lawn, been a taxi for half my family and as a consequence got fuck all done

I was thinking about roasting a chicken as well. My Dutch oven is so neglected during the summer heat. But while it is a nice temperature for it now, it will be quite hot this afternoon and I don't want to heat the place up.

I usually cook a casserole in a 9 x 13 glass dish.
