Why does it set to automatically watch after I post an unsolicited comment on a thread.
So sick of going back to click unwatch........
Is there an easier way???

I have no idea who watches this thread. I don't get a notification. I don't know if it's different using the browser instead of the app though.
It wouldn't bother me anyway really. People join and leave threads all the time

Now there's a question. I assumed there was no option to unfollow a thread once you'd posted in it. I'll take a look at my settings... Nopes - my boxes are unticked, though I'm not sure what they mean by 'content'.

Now there's a question. I assumed there was no option to unfollow a thread once you'd posted in it. I'll take a look at my settings.

There's the unwatch option. Top of the page where the thread name and page numbers are. That stops you being notified unless you're tagged or mentioned or something

There's also the watched thread list where you can check a box next to the ones you want to unfollow and do a few at once.
Handy for when it's the type of thread you only post in once then forget all about

I think I'm confusing watch notifications ( which I don't receive because I unticked those boxes ) and the 'Threads with your posts' in the dropdown menu. I use that all the time, so even if I decide to leave a thread it keeps bobbing to the top of the list like a bobbing thing.

I get irritated by life's notifications: genuine ones are fine but Junk mail, marketing texts and even rubbish through the letterbox drive me nuts.
