It can't be right that we risk our lives just getting to work. We just missed a 4-car shunt - thankfully my work chum was paying attention and we stopped three feet away. Meanwhile I'd adopted the aircraft brace because I was convinced someone would hit us. Anyhooo ... I gather no one was injured, just car panels and I jumped out to direct traffic.
I'm still quite shaken. Had enough of traffic accidents for a few years.

You know, people are really good switching on the hazard warning lights. To be honest I think the regular commuters were totally unfazed by the whole thing. I was all braced waiting for the bang.
I only got out because we need to reverse up and waving down moving cars is very much my thing

We had a very sudden downpour first thing that washed the frost away.
