Yep, except Monster is very well behaved! He’s trained to only eat cardboard and paper. He occasionally tries to nibble at blankets with really soft material, but he’s easy to deter on that one.

But there was cake!

I'm suspicious of most coffee I'm offered. I plan for disappointment and politely pouring the cup into a plant pot, but then if its a decent cup, it's catnip to me.
And then cake... homemade definitely has potential but it's high stakes. Even more difficult to dump it if it's rubbish. Anything facyory made is so saccharinly sweet they're inedible, unless you've gone hypoglycemic

Well the coffee was in plastic cups. The cake was of the Mr Kipling slice variety. I had some to be polite as the staff bought the supplies for us but afterwards I used the old "on a diet" excuse which worked a treat
