Realms of Peril

She looked sheepish "I should... I.. don't know why I can't." then she looked confused fighting to sit up her short hair went from he dyed red over her usualy muddy brown color to a gold as bright as the armor she looked at that and then at the knight

"They wanted the armor... and me" the last, she still didn't understand, why the hell would ANYONE want her? they had talked though like she spacificly had been wanted, unspoiled....

"This is an ancient place, a place older than even the elves. This place was creeated by the Minuri Wizards." I say to the group. "Its powers can only be activated by one of their race. They are human in appearance, have arcane magical abilities more powerful than the elves, and they could live for centuries."

Looking around I see the girl in the center of the ruins.

"Did you activate the powers of the ruins, girl?" I ask her, looking at the suit of armor.

Looking closer at the armor I notice the seal of the Minuri. Could it be, was this armorof the ancient High King. Only the elen loremasters would know for certain.

"Siegfried, we must take the suit of armor with us. It may be a relic of the Minuri." I say to the knight.

"Lady Tiranna, I need you to watch the rear. You are the only one other than myself who knows the ways of the forest.

Lacy was confused, very very confused as she followed the others now somewhere in the middle being held up because she couldn't walk very well on her own.

Some anchent race? Only those of their blood?

But she was HUMAN! Her mother and father.... well there was that thing with the question of just were great grandma came from. No one really said, other than she was a good painter and died after grandmother was born.

This is just getting weird, now they got her questioning her parentage!

This girl or the young man with her had to be of Miruni descent, that was the only possible explanation. The loremasters would have another riddle to solve.

Siegfried

As they travelled, Siegfried could not keep his eyes of the golden suit of armour he was carrying; something about it just demanded his attention, for some reason or another. After a moment, he managed to get his eyes off of it, and he shook his head, as if trying to dispel the urge to look again. There was something in that golden glow... and what had happened to that girl's hair back there was just frightening...

This definitely was NOT a normal day.

Niel walked closely beside her, supporting her as they went. He didn't say anything, knowing she must have a lot to think about right now.

Lacy stumbled and fell not able to keep her feet under her.

What happened back there? She couldn't remember clearly, just.. a light, she looked at a piece of hair that fell into her face and frowned...

Gold?

As we walk along the forest trail, I watch Siegfried eye the armor he is carrying and the I watch the two freed prisoners. They are interesting to say the least. If they are Minuri, why have they returned to this world now.

Trianna

I watched the glow from where I stood unable to pull my gaze from upon it. The fight with the vampires had been a quick one. My sword was quick and together they were defeated.

"Lady Tiranna, I need you to watch the rear. You are the only one other than myself who knows the ways of the forest." Galen called back to me.

"My eyes are yours"

We all wandered about the trail.

"Galen, I believe there is a shorter trail to my our home, take a right."

He knelt beside her as she fell to the ground. She looked tired, very tired.

"Want me to carry you?" he asked.

Lacy looked up "I'll be alright" she said horsly and tried to stand showing the false bravo of her words.

She was begining to feel very fustrated with the entire sitchuation and likely to bust out into tears any moment, which she did not want to do in front of all these people.

Seeing the girl stumble and fall I realize that we need to rest. We are now within the borders of the elf kingdom, and have been for the past hour or so. We have been followed and protected by elvish rangers since wee entered the borders of the kingdom. We have at least another hour of walking ahead of us.

"We can rest here for a little while" I say as we reach a small stream.

Siegfried

Sieg looked sideways at Galen. "To be honest, I'd rather keep moving. We can't be too far now." his eyes strayed to the side of the path. He couldn't see anyone there, but he knew they were; elves are very secretive people, but Sieg had been this way once or twice, and knew the ways of these folk.
"That is, as long as we can expect hospitality from our guests. We can expect that, can't we, Galen?" he asked.

Galen Silverbow

"Yes, you can expect hospitality from us. If it had been otherwise you would have been dead when we entered the borders of the elves. We need to let the others rest, you or any elf could finish the march in about an hour, but the others are not as well suited for this pace. We will be completely safe while we rest." I say to Siegfried.

Lacy just sorta crashed when they called a halt, force march.. then whatever happened at that ruin, she still found herself glancing at the armor, whenever she wasn't too tired too look at anything past her own nose.

Knees pulled shakily to her chest she sat with her back to a tree arms folded and head hiding in those folds of her arms, only the tan skin and blond curls seen past her stained levis and anime printed t-shirt.

Siegfried

Siegfried took a look back at the people following him, noticing how haggard they looked, most of them already trying to find a comfortable place to rest.
"Fine." he said with a sigh. "I guess we'll rest then. But personally, I want some answers."
And with that, Sieg made his way towards the now golden-haired girl, who was resting against a tree.

She didn't see anyone coming over, didn't overlycare at the moment, she was actually half asleep and hiding because she couldn't stop the ters of shock and fatgue that glittered against her cheeks and besides..

her nose was running like a leaky faucet and it was embarrasing with the fact she KNEW she broke out in splotches...

Siegfried

"Hail, lady." Siegfried said as he approached, but was merited no response. When he came closer, he realised that tears were streaking their way down her face. Knowing this was going to be hard, he gritted his teeth, before knealing down in front of her.
"Lady... may I have the honour of knowing your name?" he asked.

She looked up suddenly finding someone talking to her, her eys once brown now also the same golden shde of the armor. Her cheeks streaked with tears and slight red blotches acrossed her face, she hastely wiped her nose and brushed her eyes clear of tears "Lacy Azlin" she responded trying to make herself presentable as fast as she could.

I walked over to the Lady Tiranna. I have to protect her as well as the prisoners.

"Lady Tiranna, right now you are the only other one who knows what the forest is like. That is why I need you to guard the rear of our group. If anything happens I will be there by your side" I say to her hoping she realizes that I trust her with my life.

Siegfried

"Lacy... my name is Siegfried, and I am the leader of the Knights with no Banner. Of course, this means nothing to youl. What I want you to tell me is..." he paused a moment, trying not to make the young woman break down, "What connection do you have with the Miruni Wizards? It could be of the utmost importance..." he spoke now, awaiting her answer.

Her face showed complete uncomprehention "Mur--- I.. don't know.. I don't know anything, I'm just a normal girl. I'm not special!" she was starting to sound rather paniced

Siegfried

Suddenly the young knight felt very out of place as he watched the girl emotionally deteriorate in front of him.
"Alright." he finally said, nodding. "Then I shall leave it at that. But remember, if you feel like talking, please feel free to come see me." and with that, he stood up, and made his way over to the stream, where he took a quick drink, before again making his way to the head of the column. He then turned to the other-worlders.
"Good folk, the elven city is perhaps an hour or so walk from here. I implore you to finish off this last stretch of our trek as soon as possible." he said, hoping the other-worlders would comply with him.

When the knight said his name she hardly registered it, though she was able to hear him when he said they were ll leaving again.

Many were happy with the idea of getting out of the open and to someplace protected even if elves was a bit far fetched to swallow.

She stood numbly along with everyone else. there were others that were just as numb and paniced as she

but non of htem had problems with being continued hunted by vampires that seemed determanded to get them back...

Galen Silverbow

"All right then, let's get moving" I say to the group. "We will move at a slightly slower pace so everyone can keep up. In one hour's tome you will be at the most beautiful city of the elves."

I lead the way down the trail, moving at what felt like a snail's pace. The other worlders were in shock at the days events, not that I could blame them. I was just as confused at what was happening, but I knew there was more to what was happening than any of us knew about.
