I'm usually in good spirits (my motto in life is, "annoy the fire out of others by making them wonder just what ya been up too....")

So, I have to ask, are you just inot Renaissance fairs? or do you participate w/ the SCA also? W/ you being from NY, I'd think the SCA would be quite active up there.

Actually, I found this thread searching for SCA posts on Lit.
I'm quite active in the SCA. Have held several offices, went to an event today and will be hosting one next Saturday. You're active as well ?

I'm quite active in the SCA. Have held several offices, went to an event today and will be hosting one next Saturday. You're active as well ?

I used to be active back in the early 90's (I was in college at the time, then when I got out the branch was a) a bit of a drive and b) the group was having some internal problems so they didn't fully disban, but slacked off a bit. I'm trying to get my insane schedule to include it again.

I held 1 office when in it, and had it where we were doing a newsletter every month. Not sure what's going on much now w/ it tho.


Been to the Ren Faire in NC a few times. That was fun.

I think I've heard of the Ohio 1 being good.
