Looking over the various states gubernatorial elections I find that the abortion issue IS making a difference in the races. Not overwhelmingly but enough that the issue is going to carry the day for some dems. In my opinion that says a great deal about those in the electorate that place their genitals above inflation, food shortages, the border crisis, and energy policy. <shrug>

DeSantis is not trying to be Trump. He’s running as a young, former congressman and successful governor from a large state. A state that handled Covid right, a state that is outperforming blue states economically, a state that people are moving to, and a state where “woke” goes to die.

Despite CA’s draconian lockdowns, it’s mortality rate was only slightly better at 267.
