Ron DeSantis LOL

No point in debating, anyone who would even consider voting Democrat already considers him worse than Hitler, a Russian asset, fascist and a threat to "our democracy" meaning Democrats getting their way in all places at all times of course.

So why bother??

He should just keep sending illegal migrants to Martha's Vineyard so we can all watch rich Democrat NIMBY's continue to put their full blown hypocrisy on display.

LOL! There’s a reason why DeSantis put an abrupt stop to moving migrants, it backfired on him.

No, it worked wonders at exposing NIMBY Democrats, made them look like the hypocrite scum they are.

Thus all the triggered lawsuits from leftist over giving them what they allegedly want.

Me dear departed mother told me that life is 90% position and 10% timing.

The elections aren't here yet and there's plenty of time to make a move. He's got the money and the blessing of the legislature. Time will tell, right?

I've never been to Martha's VIneyard, but even I know the place looks nothing like South Texas.

"The quiet, firm competence of Governor Ron DeSantis in the face of Hurricane Ian is proving a real problem for Democrats, Never Trumpers, and other garbage people. He’s good at what he does, unlike them, and people see how he differs from the Establishment despite the blizzard of lies and silly charges designed to tear down the best governor in America. Why DeSantis is a monster who hates gay people because he banned grooming and he caused global warming by not making you turn in your Tahoe for a Schwinn and he dragged innocent illegal aliens from their idyllic sidewalk shantytowns in El Paso to the nightmarish hellscape of Martha’s Vineyard. It’s enough to cause literal shaking! Sure, Donald Trump was Hitler, but DeSantis is both disciplined and (unlike Trump) sees that institutions like the regime media are worthless and must be destroyed, so he is Super Hitler on Steroids times a zillion.

"Certainly, the comparison with the half-wits in the White House in the wake of the Cat 4 storm has been less than flattering to the Establishment windbags. President Cornholio has contributed nothing to the relief efforts besides more video of him wandering away, but in his defense, he’s been distracted running his fool mouth and risking nuclear war. And Kamala has been at it as well. The Florida administration had to correct the Veep’s insistence that hurricane relief would be targeted at people of color and presumably non-binary two-spirit otherkin. Diversity may be our strength, goes the cliché, but there’s no diversity in the Biden Administration – they are all idiots."

As if on cue you’re again proving math is your downfall. According to the cite you linked Florida is also running a deficit, which you claimed they weren’t.
That’s some algorithm someone wrote a long time ago, but in reality budget numbers change. California has a 98 billion dollar surplus, 98 is still more than 2.

“That’s the price tag of the budget for the coming year, which the California Legislature approved this week. The surplus alone has reached a record-high $97 billion. And while the budget process is not final — legislative leaders will now have to negotiate with Gov. Gavin Newsom on the finer details of that budget — that staggering number”

Florida posted a $21.8 billion surplus in the fiscal year that ended June 30, the highest in state history.

Buoyed by strong tax collections that have far outpaced expectations, the state’s general revenue collections had increased about 24% from the prior year through May, according to Florida’s Office of Economic & Demographic Research. Preliminary estimates for June collections are about $950 million above expectations, Governor Ron DeSantis said in statement Thursday.

Now contrast that with why California's "surplus" is a temporary mirage underlined with crushing unpaid debt:

Ok, so you were wrong. No one is surprised.

You posted a link that not only refuted your earlier claim but is from 2019, which isn’t this year’s budget.

You may need to explain the difference between budget surplus/deficient and debt.

I think that's where spidey's logic circle wraps around itself. As it so often does.

California is BROKE.
Florida is not.

But you want to pretend otherwise because it fits in with your personal polity
and you are simply not going to let that intrude upon reality.

If you take the California surplus and apply it to the debt, California is in a huge fucking hole.
Florida is just the opposite because of rational governance.

People flee California and flock to Florida (and Texas). You really could use a clue.

Florida debt 24.3 billion
California 143.73 billion

Both have lots of debt even with surplus applied

LOL! Yet the cite you just provided said California had a SURPLUS.
Math and English are your downfall.

LOL! Math has always been your downfall. California has a 98 billion dollar surplus, Florida has a 2 billion dollar surplus. 98 is more than 2.
Then why don't they invest in a better electrical grid and generation capacity to prevent "not charging your electric cars" syndrome and don't give the green energy crap, its not ready for prime time unless the government will invest in it some how to get it moving but that's years away not helping today.

It's so weird. I've lived in Cali since the '70s and have never experienced all of these plagues that seemingly infect our daily life. 🤷

You seem to be lost in the conversation. AJ is in here insisting that Florida has a surplus, but provided a link saying Florida is in debt, now you’re posting a different link that says Florida is in debt (despite our state constitution not allowing us to be in debt).
You and AJ seem to be struggling with words and numbers.
[AJ & Savage have left the conversation]

This guy. Some on the right think this goober is going to be next Conservative Savior Anti-Woke MAGA 2.0 Jesus Action Hero. But he just doesn't have it; preening, whiny, and completely lacking a sense of humor. Not a likeable candidate. Republicans are going to have to try harder.
If Desantis is a "goober". Who is your hero? Biden or Kamalala? What a fucking joke you are.
