Sarah Palin

I can SO see Obama as the first black Batman in the next sequel! :D

Biden running around in Robin's red tights, not so much.

They could battle the arch evil doer "Old Ugly Dude" and his faithful side kick "Cunt Woman!"
(specially in as how JM and SP will be looking for work)

Coffee spew!

From an article in The Independent (one of UK's best newspapers).

Meanwhile, new financial filings revealed that the make-up artist assigned to the running-mate, Sarah Palin, was paid more in the first half of October than any other employee of the campaign, including Mr McCain's most senior advisers and strategists.

Ooops!!

I'm assuming, based upon you having quoted my post, I am "so many people."

Honey, if you don't like what's being said, I'd kindly suggest that you don't read through a political thread.

BTW, it's not "one sided" to point out that the Republican candidate for the Presidency of the United States has NO respect for women, as indicated by his comments about his own WIFE. I am SURE that the people who support McCain would report something like that if they could. Instead they cast aspersions and talk about ungrounded "terrorist connections", not to mention all of that crap about his middle name. It's too bad that the Republican's chose the person they did.

Are you kidding? I enjoy seeing how nuts people become...how they only see the positive things about his or her candidate and miss all the negative mudslinging from their choice of candidate.

Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says

(CNN) -- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin speaks at a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, on Saturday.

Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

A Palin associate, however, said the candidate is simply trying to "bust free" of what she believes was a damaging and mismanaged roll-out.

McCain sources say Palin has gone off-message several times, and they privately wonder whether the incidents were deliberate. They cited an instance in which she labeled robocalls -- recorded messages often used to attack a candidate's opponent -- "irritating" even as the campaign defended their use. Also, they pointed to her telling reporters she disagreed with the campaign's decision to pull out of Michigan.

A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.

"She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone," said this McCain adviser. "She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.

"Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom."

They need to change the name of their party to "Repubicannibalicans"

Honestly can you see anything positive from the republican party (outside of bush, the other Bush did a lot of great things for the state of Florida)? Can you see any of the negativity coming from the democrats?

Sadly, no.

guess for the most part I feel the same about Dems.....

To me, it looks like you're projecting the finally-apparent shortcomings of Republican policies and tactics onto the other side. I think it's going to become a very common reaction in the coming years. People who still believe in de-regulation, corporate welfare, laissez-faire economic policies, and the infallibility of the "free market" will blame the failures on the venality and corruption of the pols who implemented the policies. And they will tar those who hold opposite views with the same brush, rather than admit what is apparent to a growing majority of citizens. That is, that under Republican rule America has become weaker internationally and less free domestically. Government is larger and more crony-infected than ever, to the point that entire cities are lost to natural disasters, and interstate highway bridges collapse. Jobs are shipped overseas, there is little manufacturing base left, and our products are inferior or ill-adapted to a world with higher energy prices.

You complain about the inefficiencies of government agencies, without realizing that efficient usage of employee resources depends on a waiting line at the customer window. If you didn't have to wait, that would mean that there was an employee sitting there waiting, doing nothing, until you arrived. The fact that there's a line is evidence that the place is being run as cheaply and efficiently as their resources allow.

sorry but part of the issue was based on the Dems....the dems made changes and wanted to boost the number of Americans who owned home.....it was the freaking dems that started made changes with Freddie and Fannie so that 80% or more us could own our own home. granted that was a nice idea, but welfare and unemployment should not be a measure of income

Evidence? Just making it up to suit your prejudices again, I take it?

Nahh, she doesn't need evidence.

She just - knows. Divine inspiration.

She closes her eyes, says ohm, turns on Fox News, and the truth is revealed. (Along with multiple talking points.)

I think I hear the angels singing now.

It really sounds like you're just jealous and bitter that you haven't been tasked by God with this noble purpose. :)
