Say it in Rhyme

Mia 'tis true I fear to say,
That my old grater could scare them away!
And so I shall bin it, remove it hence,
It shall no longer haunt the future tense.
I pray they forgive me, set the record straight
And return forthwith as it's never too late!
But Mia, dear Mia, you have something wrong,
There's nothing terrible in yours rhymes or your song.
So no more chastisement I beg of you dear.
Instead blame me and my grater so queer!
So Ginger, dear Ginger, and sweetest Kym
Come return to us, and shelter within.

Hail good fellow, Val, it's just you and I
On the verse thread today, it seems a bit dry

Perhaps we should change our writing style
And fill the posts with :nana: and :)

Or bring out the trusty old cheese grater again
And I'll sharpen my favorite fountain pen

We'll sing as in a vaudeville show
Despite the throwing of rotten tomatoes

Wait, let me change our script a bit
I'll sing, you dance, and we'll depend on our wit

There really shouldn't be cause for alarm
For we shall rely on your gentlemanly charm

Or should I say charms, for surely they're plural
And no doubt they will work and allure all

My goodness I've worked up a creative sweat
I need to get out of this mosquite net

You strum that cheese grater as you tap dance
And here on the stage we'll generate a tolerance

For our rhyming partners, now MIA (that's missing in action)
We'll wait with patience and without distraction

:rose:

Not MIA, but just for Today.....

Hello to all of my literotican pals!

Season's greetings, rhyming guys and gals!

This is shaping up the best Christmas for me

presents are wrapped and tucked under the tree.

Our dog and cat paroled from their quarantine stay

running amok and creating a fray

Love and laughter fill our home to the brim

The light in Starkie's eyes never seem to dim

My life has taken on new meaning living here,

Residing in the country, with my Starkpic near!

I pray all is well with each one of you

Hoping you're happy in whatever you do.

My thanks to everyone for your verse in the year past

Rhyming with you certainly has been a blast!

2006 draws close, another year to ply our skill

Of rhyme and verse, I cannot get my fill.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year

To you my friends, I raise my beer!

~kym~ living and loving Starkie in England, not missing Floridillyan heat and sand!

:nana:

Ah, it's good from time to time
To post on this thread of talented rhyme

The new year has started off with a roar
No one can say '06 is a bore.

The days fly by, I'm having fun
And thank goodness at last, we see the sun

For a solid week there was only rain
Sinks backed up, overflowing the drain

Thankfully now, the weather is drier
No one rents the umbrellas for hire

I'm thinking of Kym in the Starkpic manor
And good old Val with his British banner

And ginger girl who's not been seen
She might be busy, that's all I mean

And what has happened to jusforfun?
Has he been in contact with anyone?

We should make a contract of some sort
To haunt this thread and poetically retort

Bump it up to the top at least once a week
Fill it with humor, compassion and cheek

Post some pictures of your pets
Your kids, the mailman, even your vet

Ah, now I'm really getting carried away
It's time for Mia to go out and play!

:rose:

Well it's been a long time
Since last did I rhyme
And my jumbled old words
Were on this board heard.
But, since sweetest Mia,
And Kym have been so dear,
To keep this thread going,
I really would be showing
Quite contemptible rudeness
To at least bear some witness
To my old friends and their rhymes,
That always make the time
Far more pleasurable.

A QUICK POP IN TO SAY HELLO
'scuse me, I didn't mean to bellow!
Just wanted to sign in for Mia's roll call
I see de-val is right on the ball
Tis a welcome sight to see Lit's notice in my inbox
I was wonderin' if all the rhymers had gone into detox!
Starkie is busy gettin' ready to plant his trees
But then again, we're always busier than a hive o' bees
Hope all of Lit's prestigious poets are well in this new year
Now pardon me as I return to m'beer :)

~kym~ planting trees with Starkie for a new woodland
Life with 'im is anything but bland! :D

:)

"Guilty, M'lud" I said in court
"I haven't posted on Lit for an age."
The jury squirmed in rightful anger
And the prosecutor gave vent to his rage

At the end of the day, the verdict announced
The judge looked at me with disdain
Then ordered me to write one more verse
Or be arrested again

So being a decent citizen
And wishing to be law-abiding
I proffer this unto Lit
Then promptly go back into hiding.

:nana:

I haven’t rhymed here although limericks I’ve writ
So coming in out of the sun I thought I would sit
And see what others have put – what sort of verse
To tantalize or tease be it cute ones or curse

I like what I read here so I think I’ll be back
But now it is time to fetch me a snack
Lame? Yes my rhyming – elementary it would appear
But please, this is Literotica – you want “good” read Shakespeare

With head hung low, with Cleva I admit my crime
It's been ages since I last did rhyme
The demands of life have gotten in the way
Too much to do throughout the day
Whether it's inside or out, the tasks never end
Never any time to rhyme with a friend!
But today I'll take a moment to acknowledge his verse
And beg the court on Treva, please don't be too terse!
For cliteatingman, a nod of the 'ead
Glad you've found a place to make your stead.
SecretLove69, your addition is a boon
Hope you'll return and I ask, make it soon!
These dusty pages need new life breathed in
You m'dear are sharper than Shakespeare's pen!
Meanwhile I'll watch my control panel for the next to rhyme
But as for now, I've run outta of time!

Hark, hark, my rhyming Litizens arise!
Stand tall and proud beneath the orange skies;
Beckon to the sexuality around you,
With ardor and passion each day imbue.

Here, with lyric and cadence we wax,
From the heat of arousal to the cooling time to relax;
We cum together, one for all--
Remembering all for one, the clit and ball.

Yay! Great to see this thread revived! Maybe Treva and even de-valmont will resurrect as well, LOL! Thanks, kym. :rose:
