As a note to all, what Nerina and Evan are up to can be seen by everyone. And while they're speaking softly, I know some of the others have Epic Perception. I think that if anyone wants to join the two of them, that would be great. I know I'd be okay with it.

I don't know. We were waiting on people to post, and no one has. So, as of right now, I'm calling for a head count for everyone here.

If you're still interested and able to post here, you have until . . . say, Thursday night to post here saying so. If you don't, or post and say you don't have time/interest/whathaveyou to be involved, that's fine, and we'll count you out. After Thursday, we'll see what we still have to work with, and go from there.

Hook is still in it too. I gave her a gentle nudge and talked to her about some options. She's making up her mind now and then we'll go from there.

I do find a certain amount of irony in the fact when I have time to be active again no one else seems to be active. Bad luck for me I guess.

I'm sorry I've been so scarce lately - I've been dealing with some personal crapola.

So, here's the idea I've come up with, feel free to let me know if it stinks.

We'll skip forward to the end of the Iceland thing, and just move the two of you into another story where we won't have the others around (they will have been moved on to something/somewhere else) and go from there. Basically, it'll be a soft reset to get the rest of Hogzilla out of the way, and let you two play with something else.

Thoughts? If it's okay with both of you, I'll try to have something up tomorrow sometime (but I can't promise it'll be set by then - visitors this weekend), Tuesday at the latest.

Also it would seem I mad the bad luck comment to soon. Last night my grandfather died. This mourning my Fiancee's great grandfather died. So I definitely will have a trip out of state for a funeral soon and possibly a second funeral here in town.

On the plus side, I seem to be done with grieving.

I hate to ask but I am a power gamer at heart. So do we get experience? No pressure or anything because if it is a yes I'll have to download the books again.

I haven't quite decided how to do advancement yet, but I can promise that you won't need to download the books again - there's a website I found that's got shorthand of all the technical Scion stuff that I'll link if it comes down to it.

That being said, I'm willing to open it up to discussion whether or not you guys get EXP or we do advancement another way. Because it doesn't seem fair to either of you to have you just tool around at the same level forever, so . . . what do you two think?

Well I tried to work on that speaking trait via the dictionary.

I would say maybe something as simple as calling out, add 1 epic stat or here is a new birth right.

Exp of coarse is the most flexible set up and it avoids another issue. If I recall right I picked more legend points and that puts me one point away from being at the demigod level of play. Point being in the call out method you shouldn't call out add 1 point of legend.


In other news I leave town to attend my grandfathers funeral on Thursday and will not be back until Saturday. As for my bride to be's great grand father, it seems he wasn't big on ceremonies so we won't be doing anything soon and I may not even be invited.

My condolences on your grandfather's passing, cats. I've been to enough funerals to know how unpleasant they can be. I hope the trip is good, at the least.

In terms of the Advancement issue, I'd say that I wouldn't mind another point of Legend but I do understand Cats' point as well. I guess given that, it might just be best to do XP.

The "Call out" method could still be used if we wanted to avoid the Legend issue, by making it character specific. Maybe Evan gets a point of Legend but Crystal gets a new Boon or something like that. Just a thought, though.

Very much a good idea on the call out.

Personaly I only raised my legend to increase the epic stat cap, which is legend -1. For me I like boons and epic stats, the spells and abilities seem to be more trouble then they are worth. Hence why I took none at the start.
