SHOW UP. Seriously. Mobilize beyond writing and calling. Like I said, sign up to be an election official. Run for local office. Volunteer for local abortion funds if you don't have the money, you can at least help with admin support. There are a lot of senate elections that REALLY matter this year. Georgia. North Carolina. PA. Show up - make calls for those campaigns. Get these pieces of shit out of there.

I do have a question for you about effective campaigning.
I have gotten onto a couple of lists where I write postcards to voters, reminding them to vote. I have done a lot of phone banking in the past, but it seems now that almost no one will answer a phone call unless they know the person calling. Does phone banking still work?

Maybe this is the wrong time to ask such a mundane question, when there is outrage to be voiced.

I believe it does work.
From a voter perspective when they leave a VM even if I didn't answer it keeps the fact that elections are coming up in the back of my head. And even that alone is a good thing given that so many people end up not voting.

From a campaign perspective. I have done phone banking for a couple of local campaigns and I have done other work in local campaigns such as volunteer coordinator etc and evenn changing 1 voter's mind is helpful bc then they turn around and engage people around them

Its one of those things where you might not see the results right away but seriously, everything helps!!

Phone banking can work, but now there is text banking. I get texts all the time from campaigns and the party.
