Second Assassination attempt on Trump

On a side note, the suspect was caught (according to the cops) because his vehicle was read on Automatic License Plate cameras.

A few weeks ago the MAGAts were lining up on this forum to proclaim how much of an infringement of the Constitution and the Rights of Republicans to Commit Crime this technology was. There's not so much of that chatter now.
Their memory banks do seem very short term and very selective.

For the past 24 years virtually ALL political violence has been initiated by the left, we KNOW who the enemies of democracy are.

“Oklahoma City Bombing

On the morning of April 19, 1995, an ex-Army soldier and security guard named Timothy McVeigh parked a rented Ryder truck in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City.
He was about to commit mass murder.
Inside the vehicle was a powerful bomb made out of a deadly cocktail of agricultural fertilizer, diesel fuel, and other chemicals. McVeigh got out, locked the door, and headed towards his getaway car. He ignited one timed fuse, then another.
At precisely 9:02 a.m., the bomb exploded.
Within moments, the surrounding area looked like a war zone. A third of the building had been reduced to rubble, with many floors flattened like pancakes. Dozens of cars were incinerated and more than 300 nearby buildings were damaged or destroyed.
The human toll was still more devastating: 168 souls lost, including 19 children, with several hundred more injured.
It was the worst act of homegrown terrorism in the nation’s history.” FBI.gov

So strange two dudes of different ages appear in a Black Rock video then go on to try to kill Trump. Crazy stuff.

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw says that because Trump is not the sitting president that he is not given complete perimeter protection, even though someone shot him just a couple months ago. He said if Trump was president then law enforcement would take protecting him more seriously.

Now, this is after the first assassination attempt, where one would expect his security to have been considerably stepped up and enhanced. This Sheriff, btw, is a Democrat. It's the hive mind at work again. Political management of the SS, Trump hating Florida FBI, Democrat Sheriff - no overt collusion, all unspoken, but deliberately leaving him exposed in the hope that just such an event as this will be successful.

In this case, this Sheriff is admitting to not doing his job and standing down. The DA standing behind him is a completely psychotic Trump-Hater with severe TDS and the FBI head of the Miami Field Office is an outrageous Trump hater who was ordered to clean his Facebook page before he was promoted. Does this idiot know the secret service agents search all vehicles anywhere near Obamas property on Martha’s Vineyards - and you should see the fuss when he goes golfing. Obama isn’t a sitting president.

Trump needs his own security team, directly funded and authorized by Congress, outside the control of any Democrat. It's clearly been proven that Democrats cannot be trusted to be professional. They will ALWAYS put their politics first.

I believe that USSS should be directly under the President's authority. Not DHS or Treasury or any of the other agencies, DIRECTLY under the President's authority. The USSS Dept head should report directly to the President and NO ONE ELSE, not even Congress. This eliminates (or should) partisan politics and finger pointing.

Additional Congressional mandates should require that, in the event of an assassination, or attempt at one, USSS is compelled and required to do an internal review of all persons involved up to and including the Dept head and conclude as to why the assassination, or attempt, occurred and what personnel/training/manpower failures led to it. Such a review shall be completed within 48 hours and submitted to Congress without requiring a subpoena. All persons named in the report shall be terminated immediately without notice or benefits. No exceptions.

This is the hard line. If you're hired to do a job and you fail, YOU should face the consequences of that failure. When it comes to security for the President, or any other protectee, there is no standard for allowing those who failed to continue on in any position where that failure can contribute to a subsequent failure, even if indirectly.

Trump assassination attempt suspect Ryan Wesley Routh wrote a book urging Iran to 'kill' the former president

Ryan Wesley Routh, the man named as the suspect in a possible assassination attempt at Donald Trump's Florida golf club, urged Iran to kill the former president in a book he self-published last year.

In 'Ukraine's Unwinnable War,' he said he had made a terrible mistake in once voting for Trump, whom he described as a 'buffoon'

'I must take part of the blame for the retarded child we elected for our next president that ended up being brainless, but I am man enough to say that I misjudged and made a terrible mistake and Iran I apologize,' he said, after berating the former president for abandoning the nuclear deal with Tehran.

'You are free to assassinate Trump as well as me for that error in judgment and the dismantling of the deal.

And this telling bit: 'We must get to a place where every leader is always a woman so that we can avoid this testosterone driven insanity and macho bulls***t.'

How is this a "telling bit"?

Don’t see anything wrong with that.

Riddle me this, Batman: how many modern wars were started and finished with a woman in charge?

The shooter did not have an AK47. He had a scoped SKS rifle which makes more sense for a 300 to 400 yard shot. Also of note he is a convicted felon in possession of a firearm with an obscured serial number.

Not arbitrary at all. The year was 2000 and the election of G. Bush. The election the Communists insist to this day was stolen, illegal, "not my president." It all started with the Communists. Where's "tail gunner" Joe when you need him?
