September Film Challenge ๐ŸŽฌ

Nice! I was a total Kevin fan boy back in the day. I still watch everything he does. Dogma was a good one for sure.
The Jay and Silent Bob reboot and Clerks 3 were total fan service . But whatever I liked them. Wouldnโ€™t recommend them to anyone who wasnโ€™t already in the cult though. Dogma Iโ€™d recommend to most folks.

Clerks 3 was fun, but I kinda hated the ending. The fun stuff was fun though. I rewatched Strike Back before I saw Reboot and was kind of amazed at how well it held up. Very little felt dated. The new season of his He Man show just dropped. Gonna have to get on that. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Day 26: A film that made you feel happy

I realize that happy can mean more than just humor/laughter, but this movie puts a smile on my face everytime I watch it.
This is my favorite Guest flick. Spinal
Tap has some great lines but Iโ€™ll watch this one over and over. โ€œWe both like soupโ€ ๐Ÿคฃ

Are you familiar with Christopher Guest and the dog show culture in America? It is making fun of how silly the whole thing is. ๐Ÿ˜ I hope you like it.

Best in Show I'd amazing indeed. Waiting for Guffman is sort of my favorite because Corky Sinclair is just so weird and funny. But Best in Show always makes me laugh too.

Heck yeah, Guffmanโ€™s also on the top 3 for me. Favorite is a very fluid term for me in general.
Waiting for Guffman is above Spinal for me. โค๏ธ
Oh yeah, there's absolutely no wrong way to rank any of them. They're all magic. My favorite tends to be the one I just watched, whichever one it was. :p

True story, years ago, when I was a gigging musician I actually DID open for a puppet show. It was more funny in the movie. ๐Ÿคฃ

Not to brag but... I used to be a puppeteer in a puppet show. ๐Ÿ˜

I love this movie! When it came out, the listing would say if it was version โ€œaโ€, โ€œbโ€ or โ€œcโ€ they were showing. So we watched it in three different theaters so we could see all the versions. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ
I don't think I knew that they did that in the theater! That's so fun!!

Day 26: A film that made you feel happy

It gets a little hell these days because of its female lead, and because it beat Saving Private Ryan for Best Picture (and I will argue, that other than the opening scene in Ryan, it is still a better movie, but I hate rating artistic ventures like that are a sporting event), but this movie just works for me. The cast is magical, all of them, even Ben Affleck, who I generally cannot stand. It has it all: comedy, love, a bit with a dog. That's what they want!
