The worst pronunciation here though? The soft e.... Electric, elephant, ....here pin pen tin and ten all rhyme. I got called in to my daughter's 1st grade class to receive information about her possible hearing or intellectual disability. Mind you this girl was always razor Uber world dominance smart.....

The teacher's evidence? An oral spelling test in which my daughter spelled ten and pen as tin and pin. Then I heard the teacher speaking. Ma'am, she spelled exactly what you said. One does not visit the circus to see the Iliphants. Oddly the teacher only requested conference with mom after that.
