So... shooting is just going too far? Okay, got it! (y)(y)

we need to set our boundaries, after all.

There was a candy maker out here who made pepper fudge. Jalapeno, habanero, and ghost pepper. I loved the ghost pepper one -- the sugar and fats damped down the heat, so you could taste the pepper itself, which was lovely. Still hot, just not as hot.
Was one? What happened to it?

Trader Joes has a Scotch bonnet and Bell pepper cheddar that's sooo good. It's not really spicy but you can taste the peppers and it so delicious.

Oh man, don’t make me want to go to Trader Joe’s…

Go. Today. It's sooo good. You need it. Nothing is better than a glass of wine and some cheese and bread for dinner on a Friday night.

I like to go down to the coast, buy a bottle of local wine, some fresh baked bread, and hit the cheeses shops. Tillamook Creamery sells some stuff out of the factory shop you can't get elsewhere, like their white cheddar aged 18-years. Incredible flavor. And about half a mile down the road is a place that makes their own brie. Grab some other cheeses there, go to the smoker in Rockaway for some smoked salmon, and you have a wonderful meal in front of the ocean.

Better with two, but I may head down today anyway. OP, you give me the best ideas ...

Why didn't I know you a year ago 😭😭😭. I only got ice cream and cheese curds at Tillamook when I was there

18 year old cheese? How dry is the cheddar? Does it crumble at your touch?

Not too dry, but there is definitely a crumble factor -- it breaks easily. A bit of granularity to it as well that you don't see in a cedar.

Fuck, I have No-name's Day off today. I was thinking of heading out. Now I might have to.
