I have a memory of laying in my sisters bed as a kid (she is 7 years older than me)… and her somehow making knocking sounds without me noticing and telling me it was hooves on the roof … and to be especially quiet or Santa would know we were awake and not give us our presents.

(I should note the very next year she showed me our mums present hiding spot in our parents closet … they were not very stealthy in the 80s apparently)

After that we did a thing where we would try to see how many times we could yawn before we actually fell asleep.

So I was in a young relationship, not very financially well off, and I wanted a Nintendo Wii (this was the year it came out). My lady had a contest at her work to win one, but she wasn’t doing super hot. I didn’t expect it, would have been cool though.
Fast forward to Christmas moening, I also needed a new computer chair, so I open a present from her with an inexpensive but functional chair. Cool, I genuinely appreciate it because I knew she put thought Into it.
I go to open it, and instead of a chair I see a wii, extra controllers, and Guitar Hero III because she had busted her ass and won the competition and wanted to surprise me for Christmas.

"Polyamory means now two people get mad at me when I say I just had coffee for dinner."

--A quote I saw on Tumblr.
My husband has reluctantly agreed to try afterlife polyamory. He knows the first thing I'm going to do on the otherside is try bang George Michael. And before you say it, I don't want to hear it! I'm sure that I can convince him to at least try my team!!!!!

My brother and I were far enough apart in age where I could never really tag along and I often had to witness his rebellion against our parents. He had a paper route that year and we all heard how he was trying to save enough money to move out as soon as he turned 18. We were dirt poor - like so broke we couldn't pay attention. I won't forget the morning the police called to tell us we had to come to the hospital because they'd found him asleep in a snow drift in hypothermia. He came home the week before Christmas The next day there was the biggest box under our tree wrapped in the comics section of the newspaper with my name on it. When I tore into it, there were hundreds of Hot wheels - I only had one at the time. He'd been saving for weeks and hunting everywhere for as many as he could find for me. I'll never ever forget that Christmas.

When I was but a teenager. My gf and I had had a fight. I don’t even remember what is was about, but we were in the throws of making up, and before we had finished our conversation. Her brother comes busting in and tells us it’s snowing outside. (Slight back story: I’m from the south so it didn’t snow often) So we put a pause on our conversation and went outside. We finished making up in the snow and we shared a kiss. The snow was falling we were under a streetlight, with a nice warm glow. It was almost magical.

I would, but only if invited. I’m not trying to crash any parties unexpectedly.
