Ooh roommate got an abelskiver pan as a gift and has never used it. Are they hard to make?
Not really, no. If it is a cast iron pan, be sure to keep the heat at medium or medium low. Use melted butter to coat the cup, put in the batter, wait until it starts to bubble, then use something to turn them a bit, then a bit more to make a sphere. Traditionally, you use a knitting needle, but I don't knit, so a chopstick works perfect.

I serve them with jam and honey. Today I had lingonberry, Marionberry, and homemade strawberry.
