i had an allergic reaction to the ink when i got mine done. my whole chest broke out into hives for two weeks. it was pretty miserable. that's why i'm hesitant about getting a big one.

Might as well post, I suppose..... Not my favorite pic in the world, but I have always been rather fond of the way my look when crossed, so I might as well throw it on up here......

And in the category of "way too much time on my hands", anyone have any comments on the kind of crazy, too many silly photo effects pic? I find myself thinking it may be so horrible that I kind of like it

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Left arm is 80% Weldon Lewis (San Antonio). The remaining 20% of the left arm and all of the right arm done by Chris J-Tot (Denver). Great artists and good guys, both.

The crappy thing on my chest was done by some asshole who should have told me "come back when you have a clue"

I've lived in two out of three of those...Turkey and Hawaii! Good times!

Ooooh, where did you live in each place? I was only in Turkey for three weeks but it was beautiful. We fell in love with Hawaii when we were there, my absolute ideal apartment is at the corner of Ala Moana Blvd and Kapahulu Ave in Waikiki...near the zoo, the nightlife, the deaf school (my work), and the beach! We'd probably end up somewhere cheaper though. The bus system is so great, I'd live anywhere on Oahu!

I have 7. First one in 1999, next 2 in 2006, 1 in 2007, 2 in 2008, 1 in 2009. Just got the most recent one touched up two days ago, there were some problems so the artist fixed it for free. Right now it doesn't seem like much of an improvement, but I'm trying to remind myself that black wash fades to gray and it will look better once it's healed.

Each of the three paw prints is a separate tattoo, they just happen to be placed close together as part of a long-term design. They each memorialize a cat I have loved and lost.

Next up is a sleeve as a reward to myself for my graduation in 2011. It'll be flowers from the places I have been (tulip for Turkey, nutmeg for Grenada, plumeria for Hawaii, etc) and I'm thinking about some kind of circuit board background or something similarly geeky.

Very cool.

Well i was fine with the symmetry because i had my right hip, left ankle and just the middle of the back and it was balanced. I want both my shoulders tattooed but I just dont have the money as of yet to get the other shoulder done but it drives me CRAZY!

However, I have my next....6 tattoos already planned out? Lol.

Ha! I have left ankle, right calf, left thigh, center back, and right bicep. And my next one is going to be a sleeve on my left arm! I gotta keep things balanced.

I had 11 piercings, now i have ten.
I have 4 sets in my ears, an upper cartiledge piercing in my right ear and my tongue. My belly button they pierced wrong so it never healed on the inside. I let it close up it was lookin nasty

I fill in my lack of enough tattoo money with piercings

I had my belly button done when I was in the Army right before a 30 day field excercise...my belt rubbed against the ring and it scarred and never healed right. I took it out a couple years later when I was pregnant..and now every dr I see says "ooh, did you have abdominal surgury?" sexy, huh?

So now I just have the nipples...and whatever I get done next...
