Sounds fabulous. I love the ocean, never been crabbing before though. Eaten it plenty of times.

Well it wasn't traditional crabbing. Normally you walk along the beach and scoop them up in the surf. We were snorkeling around and scooping them up while swimming after them in shallow water while someone from the boat spotted them and pointed.

Yeah it was a lot more fun catching them then it was cleaning them, which is a HUGE pain in the ass.

Cleaning crabs isn't really gross, but insanely time consuming.

Well some fish are a lot harder to clean than others. Triggerfish are rough for example because of the tough skin they got.

I've only cleaned freshwater fish. Catfish you nail their heads into a tree, and peel their skin back. That takes some strength. I am fond of fishing.

I don't do a lot of freshwater fishing. Triggerfish have sking like rough leather.

First time I'd seen an alligator in salt water. It happens, but I'm pretty sure they can't live in it since the salt will kill them.
