So... do all women masturbate...?

He just really thinks it's wrong for women to masturbate.

This man needed to know that women are built differently to men, in that the more orgasms we have, the more we are capable of. Therefore you were doing him a favour by masturbating.

My ex used to get jealous if he heard that I masturbated, so I just stopped telling him. My current boyfriend says "Good on ya" when I tell him. He also loves holding me while I touch myself.

What the hell? What's not to love about it?

The only thing that would bother me about a partner touching herself is if I wasn't around to watch.

It's such an amazingly beautiful thing to watch. The passion during the act is so pure and so powerful...how could anyone not want to see that?

On a couple of occasions my ex finished herself off after I'd finished (she beat me to it for once - in more ways than one).

I was completely cool with her masturbating, have no moral compunction against it, think it's quite sexy, and actually bought her a vibrator.

But to see her do it actually freaked me out a bit

If only....

I wish my SO would masterbate. Not only might it help releave some of her stress, but it might also make her feel more sexual, sexy, and prone to feeling like the sexy woman that she is

Not all women masturbate

I have masturbated since I was 12. I can't remember the last detail about it, but I think I read about it in a book. My favorite way to cum was in the shower under the tub spout. I do remember ny parents wondering why I was taking such LONG showers!:):):).
I was absolutely stunned when a girlfriend of mine (married, 3 kids) divulged that she had never had an orgasm. I'm still a bit in shock about it. So I am wondering how many other women have never come??? The women on this site are probably not a good sample of the population at large (what they call a self-selected group), but I am on a mission to "cure" non-orgasmic women of this affliction. (In the technical literature the condition is called "pre-orgasmia", because the hope is they WILL one day be orgasmic)
Anyway, just want to say I love this forum! I watch porn with my hubby and I am easily aroused, but the absolute best porn for me is READING about sex, not watching some model fake it.

Honestly, I'd say the women on this site are probably a worse sample than surveying a womens' prison to find out how many women have eaten pussy. :D That's certainly not a bad thing, but if I remember right, 100% of our regular female members masturbate at least twice a week, watch porn, give blowjobs, are accepting of swingers and same sex action, and have used sex toys. The vast majority would make their own porn, fuck another woman, and participate in an open relationship. I'd assume the 'pre-orgasmia' rate is pretty close to zero here, since you'd be surveying the best of the best. ;)

Yea, that is what led me to this site! I love reading about the excitement, the anticipation and the explosivness of sex. I love experiencing it all too, which is why I worship my hubby's cock and my vibrator (not necessarily in that order). And I was stunned to learn a friend of mine has never had on orgasm.

As far as I know, I've never met a woman that hasn't had an orgasm. Of course, a lot of the women I've asked, have vibrators and expect there to be oral sex as early as a first date. All I know about pre-orgasmic women comes from reading about it.

Two stunning figures: 10-15% of women have NEVER had an orgasm and 75% of women never come from PIV sex (penis-in-vagina)
I just thank my lucky stars that I can make my body orgasm!

Yes, I know the numbers, but if you know anything about my reputation, the women that come after me are probably an extremely biased sample. Of course, I have to assume that the majority of them being 35+ makes quite a difference as well. I have met a bunch of women that haven't orgasmed from vaginal penetration, though.

i suspect that the women who can have been with partners whose penises are able to reach their g-spots.

I'd assume the vast majority of guys can reach the g-spot, since 5 inches is average and the g-spot is only 2-3 inches in. Of course, it takes some pretty intense stimulation to make it do its thing. I have a feeling, it's not even the g-spot (Skene's gland) itself that makes it happen, though. Most likely, it's more stimulation of the internal parts of the clit that makes it happen, just like how the prostate is located near the internal end of the penis.

maturbation and women

Well Interesting to read this post, and some of the commen are quite old.
Most women won't admit to masturbation specially if they are in a relationship as society portrait the man as " satisfying his women" sorry for being so blunt here but lets be honest here. I have been masturbating since I am 11 years old and several decades later I still do even if my lover does satisfy me and he is the first one who does! Bravo! Finaly! But he is not with me all the time and I do love to satisfy my own need. Actually he gets totally turn on If I do it next too him: it's very eroctic and just an act of intimacy that one should either never share or share only with one who does understand the pleasure and the need to pleasure one self and get acquinted with your own need and desires and your body... Food for thoughts and pleasures :) Sherazade

The very fact that I'm embarrassed to say this pisses me off. It's my body dammit and I shouldn't be ashamed to admit how sexual I am BUT...

I was raised in a very sex negative household. I was pulled out of sex ed classes in 6th grade because my parents discovered that we were told that sex can be pleasurable. (no, they weren't teaching us how, they were teaching us reality. As I recall from grilling my besties later, they were told that you should wait until you're older but it does feel good.) Sex was bad and dirty and horrible and and it was very unfortunate that you had to do it to procreate. Later I was told that it was good for men, but women weren't supposed to enjoy it. If we did, we were wrong. Flat out wrong. And just to make it really fucked up in my head, at the same time, I was being abused by an older relative.

Now that I'm in recovery from all this and able to have healthy sexual relationships, I generally masturbate at least once a day, to multiple orgasms. I use toys, hands, fingers, movies, photos, books.... And I do it even when I'm in a good relationship where we're together (in the Biblical way!) at least twice a week. I don't know why I have such a high sex drive, but I do. Current sweetie masturbates regularly too (but I think I do it more than he does) and he's fine with it. We're both aware that a little Me Time is a good thing in a relationship. Besides, I love his cock. I'd hate to wear it down to a nubbin.

So even though it's stupid to be embarrassed by this especially on Lit, I still am. Weird, huh?

I used to use my fingers and then I found toys. :D now I use a small pink clit vibrator. That is... when I can get the batteries to work. <_<

For me, toys allow me to keep going and keep the stimulation on the hot spot whereas if I use my fingers, it's hard to keep going.

I had to invest in rechargable batteries to keep from going broke.

I wouldn't worry about being embarassed on lit. I doubt we have anyone here that doesn't masturbate. ;)

A better question would be "do all women masturbate in the shower?" whats with 20+minutes in the shower? I mean c'mon, it can't take that long to shower even if you have to wash your hair, condition it and shave your legs lol

I beg to differ... I can easily spend at least half an hour in the shower sans masturbating. I have very long hair and it does take some care! And sometimes I'm just standing in the warm water daydreaming...

When I do wank in the shower, I generally run the hot water out. I try not to do it too often though, so I don't waste the water.

Yea, about that g-spot--I recently discovered if, after I come (from vibe on my clit), I get on my hands and knees and my H fucks me really hard from behind, there is a spot way way back there (uterus?) that feels absolutely amazing, and starts to tingle. . .
So far, that's as far as I've got, since he usually comes by then.
Any suggestions?

Oh, as for my vibrator, no more batteries for me, only A/C will do!

Beautiful Thread

So, maybe 100% of the females don't masturbate. For that matter, maybe 100% of the males don't masturbate either. However, it's a given that the majority of both sexes enjoy giving themselves an orgasm now and then. Some, such as myself, more than others. My only thought on it is that seeing a woman masturbate is, hands down, one of the most beautiful sights on earth and watching the orgasmic bliss on her face as she cums is truly something that is impossible to duplicate. Long live masturbation and especially our lovely ladies that love it.

When in a relationship, like now, my masturbation habits fluctuate with the overall mood of our relationship, but almost always it still means: more sex = more masturbation in between. Funny how that works, no?

No, actually, because the more a woman has satisfying orgasms, the more her body will tend to want them.

So the more you have sex, the more you masturbate?

It's very common.

Actually, it takes me almost an hour to shower, and that's not including masturbating at all. Women do A LOT more in the shower than just washing and conditioning their hair and shaving their legs, you know.

It has put a lot of stress on our relationship as if we needed anymore than what was already there to begin with.. I have tried talking to him about it but it doesn't do any good. He just really thinks it's wrong for women to masturbate.

You may already know this, but you're not in a healthy relationship. I hope you do the right thing and get yourself away from him ASAP. Men like that are TOXIC!

Why is 75% of women never coming from PIV sex a 'stunning' figure?

The clitoris isn't located inside the vagina. The fact that most women need clitoral stimulation to orgasm is NORMAL!

I guess I didn't get my point across: YES, most women do not come from PIV "normal" "regular" sex. (25% even seems quite high) But western male culture perpetuates this myth of how to fuck, and most of us girls are left cold (warm?:))
I meant "stunning" in how fucked up it all is.
We are taught what men like (intercourse) but we are not taught what women like. We should teach girls to masturbate just like we teach girls about menstruation. Then we'd at least have a fighting chance to have a happy sexual life. Instead, you have us wondering what's wrong with us when there's no orgasm.

Am I making any sense here?
