my wife likes it to she puts down a towel and calls me over to take care of her cramps its the only thing that works for her. and I don't mind.

Towels are useful, I also found that something else helps.

I'm not sure if they make them any more, but there used to be a contraceptive sponge on the market here in the US. It worked wonders in helping to avoid a serious mess.

Womens hormones do run rampant at ths time, and sex can be very enjoyable, as stated in many earlier posts here to date.

The issue of 'mess' does relate to the topic at hand, and very much so. This can be the main reason why so many fear enjoying sex during during a womans cycle.

Many women and men are brought up to feel that this is a 'dirty' tiime of the month. It's a shame that society feels this way, it is a normal bodily function.

My previous post related one way to help cope with the 'mess' aspect... that's all.

I believe that as part of our natural cycle, we are intended to seek and mate during the time of our cycle when are most receptive to becoming pregnant. That is why so many women are compelled to have sex and aggressively seek sexual gratification. For me (and most other women), this is right around ovulation, and about a week prior to menses. My natural body temperature is higher which leads to a pleasant natural flush, I tend to sweat more.. I am thinking this is where the whole pheremones thing ties in... and I absolutely have to have it. During the week around ovulation and right before menses I am very aggressive as I can not stop thinking about having sex... even the most mundane tasks will eventually be warped into something sexual in my mind. During the week of menses, however I am very submissive. Not only dealing with the taboo of being "off limits", but I just feel ugly and gross during that time.

As long as my partner is willing to try and please me, I am willing to let him. To be honest, the week before my period starts, or occasionally, the week after, I am horny, horny, horny....
I find myself contemplating persons and activities I would never think of at any other time.
