Currently relaxing before second job. I am wearing a knee brace on one leg, a knee stabilizer on the other and muscled cream on my lower back that is currently resting on a heating pad. I hate the fact I'm getting older. lol......

but time marches on.

Oooo Lord I can almost feel that!!
I'm taped differently so that I can pick up flags on Tuesday. I'll have to wear the sling but it's all adaptive on moving with that kind of thing and for that many hours. O need to find my hat since I'll be out in the field.

Good morning all. I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday.

Well I'm finally home resting. Been running and making calls like a wild person.

Friday while I was in the middle of Flag Wave I got an emergency call. The efing American Legion here backed out of doing the Memorial Day service on Monday. They had approached the cemetery team at the little local black cemetery (from the Jim Crow days) insisting that they wanted to do a service. PR was done, stories written and then they waited till late Friday afternoon to let anyone know. And then it was only because their secretary was embarrassed. The Legion hadn't been planning to let them know ahead of time just not show up.

Who efing does that??? Yeah I'm still pretty pissed off and still cussing which is rare for me and vanilla compared to my Sp Ops guys. I got the extras flags we were short, looks like I can't get a color guard at that minute but we will have a respectful flag line. The plans got worked out last night at the cemetery emergency meeting. The 246 names will get read, a flag on each grave and we have a speaker and invocation lined up.
