Sports Cars

The problem with a Gtr is that 90% of ppl don't know what it is. It is a rare car and I do get the occasional girls that like the car but don't know what it is. But it's so worth it, l was in the market for a 911 but for the Gtr price, you get 911 turbo performance for Carrera S price, that's why I chose it.

Back in 2001, I bought a 1986 Ferrari 328gts, it had about 14,000 miles on it and I bought it for a steal at auction.
I was married at the time so I never got to use it for dating.
It was amazing how many heads turned when I drove it, and how many comments I would get from women about it.
When my ex drove it, men would ask about it, then run in fear that she was a gold digger.
Yes, certain cars do, make people think differently

I have a sports car, pick up and used to have the minivan... until the ex took it and God knows I miss her, get more stuff in a minivan then you can imagine :)
Oh and I have cars I like, not to attract others, but alas the police seem to like the sports car best out of any of them :(

I said a pick up is handy for work or hauling stuff, but it is still just an appliance. No fun factor what so ever. Unless you want to drive off road, which I could never understand why anyone would want to do that. Besides they take up too much room when parked on my street.
Yes, the Atom is awesome! It would make my commute on the Eisenhower expressway in Chicago a real blast. With that roll cage I would probably be safer than my BMW. Might miss all the airbags though. I love Top Gear...best show on TV.

Take a spin in a modified diesel pickup and you may be in for the shock of your life. It's mind blowing what a diesel can do. Several hundred horsepower and 1400 ft lbs of torque available on demand literally at the push of a button, or back to 20+ miles per gallon cruising down the highway. I don't get why everyone doesn't have one of these to be honest.

I'm also a muscle car kind of guy and have owned dozens of cars. Being in the city I don't think you can truly enjoy a car that's built for handling unless you try to drive like your in one of the fast and furious movies, and no one respects that. I'll take raw power over cornering any day. Maybe if I lived in the mountains I'd disagree, but then again the sound of a V8 rumbling is hard to beat.

I'd say either my current pickup, or one of my race cars (drag race) got the most attention. They're complete attention whores as far as vehicles go but the ladies seem to see what I like in them as well though.

I have to agree with Felix on this one. No matter what you do to it a pick up is still just a truck. It has no business in a thread about sports cars. Also, who cares how fast a car goes in a straight line. Maybe that's why F1 is the pinnacle of motorsports and drag racing is just a national championship. Much harder to design a car that is quick in the corners and fast on the straights than just a straight line burner. F1 and sports car racing draws audiences from around the world. I don't know anyone who watches drag racing.

When you say "her" do you mean the car or the ex?

I'm a Corvette girl to the core. I used to be obsessed with cars in general though. Dated one guy solely because he drove an NSX. Girls like pretty things for short periods of time, but when your car gets more attention than the girl with you does it gets old.

I'd much rather be the hot girl with the man than the girl who is with the guy in the hot car... ;)

Actually, while my girlfriend does like my BMW and sports cars in general, she did what any modern woman would do....went out and bought her own.

That's true. My car is actually sweeter than my man's because I like new shiny toys so much I had to have it.

An older guy at work once said, "I didn't realize how shallow women could be until I bought a sports car." GT-R here I come.

So to which car do you aspire? And if you already have one do the chicks notice?

Flash cars turn me off. I always think "flash car = small penis".

That reminds me of a joke: what do warts and Corvettes have in common? Sooner or later every asshole gets one.

Although NSXs are gorgeous. It's too bad they stopped making them.

Not a man who hates them! A man who can take them or leave them - who sees them for what they are - merely transport devices.:)

But a car is merely a transport device as a woman is merely a cum deposit. Is it really sufficient to reduce something to its intended primary function? ;)

Well, I will freely admit:
I prefer to fuck a beautiful woman over an ugly one and I prefer to drive a sports car over a van.

(But I'm not buying a Mac! I'm not gay.)

I'm kind of with Cattypuss on this one... I'm more likely to notice a LACK of taste in someone's car. Like if some dude goes by in a purple PT Cruiser, I'll notice that more than if he goes by in some [insert cool sports car of the moment].
