I'm not whinging... but... why are people tramping in and out of Engineering when apparently something's blown up; someone's severely hurt and your ships counselor is passed out in a turbolift?

I know that MMD hasn't posted yet and he'll take care of all the medical stuff - but shouldn't there be some sort of recognition with the event with those in engineering?

If it was too stupid a plot to add then I'm sorry. And you can continue to keep ignoring it. I'll just wait for MMD and see what he does.

They are not the same.

I don't think there's quite an analog for ginger beer in The States.

Ginger Ale sort of does it, but ginger beer apparently has more kick to it, more ginger flavour, and is sometimes alcoholic.

Root beer is root beer.

There's nothin' else like it.

And it does have some kick, sometimes a more 'peppery' taste than anything.

And I've never had a Root beer.

Root beer is carmalized sugar and water with flavouring added. (more carmel flavour)

Ginger beer is a ginger root based drink. Sometimes alchoholic, sometimes like a soda, sometimes like flavoured water.

But they taste absolutely nothing like each other. I had ginger beer in Florida, drink Ginger Ale often, and drink root beer when i can find it by A&W

Ginger beer was vile, ginger ale is actually kinda good (to me) and Root beer is very .. sweet.

It wasn't much, but what i tried to do is notice the alert on the screen and explain our missing it as some malfunction that didn't sound the alarms. I don't want to step on the CEO's toes since I'm in her element right now. But at least it got noticed.

Bugger! Sorry, I didn't notice! Didn't help that I wasn't in engineering at the time, but Vic has nudged the CEO, so stuff will happen now!

But thanks to everyone for the compliment about the post. It was an interesting post to write as I have no idea how to write ship to ship battles.
