Sting or thud?

As a supplier, I have to say it depends on the situation. Sometimes I enjoy using a crop for the swish and sting. Sometimes I enjoy the thud of my hand and the ensuing wobble of reddened flesh

Same here! Open handed spanking, if well aimed and delivered firmly, gives the best of both worlds; some weight behind it but not the dead weight of a paddle, and good sting but not the intense sting of a cane or whip. Plus there's that personal connection.
