Telling lies. It is what he does.

But the public does learn, after the fact, of the CIA's egregious fuckup's, ala Black Sites, War Crimes and Pinochet etc.

It's as if the "Intelligence Community" is an oxymoron?

Of course you would ignore the point I made (with a whole hell of a lot more knowledge of what the CIA has done in the last seventy years than you have). *shrug* Other then responding to assumptions you make without any possible way of doing so because problems prevented are something you'd rarely know about, there's nothing else that can or needs be said here--by the very nature of the issue.

. The public doesn't generally ever hear about problems that were prevented. That doesn't mean they aren't being prevented on a continuing basis through the work of the intelligence community.

For example, one could argue that the advice of the CIA on getting rid of the elected government in Iran in 1953 was wrong with long lasting repercussions.

On the other hand the CIA advised Macarthur a couple of years previously not to attack the communist Koreans up the Yalu river. He ignored the CIA in favour of the advice of a friend. The result was direct Chinese intervention and the monumental fuck up now known as North Korea.

But only the first is regularly remembered.

I know of a whole hell of a lot of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil that didn't happen over the years because of "problem prevention" until one slipped through. The most true thing George the Lesser ever said was that we have to be successful every time; the terrorists only have to be successful once.

Gordon Sondland: ‘Yes,’ There Was a Quid Pro Quo

oops

That lie does not serve a functional purpose.

That does not make a difference to Presiderp- "President Trump’s giant, handwritten
talking points about the Ukraine scandal were photographed Wednesday as he spoke
to reporters on the White House lawn, providing a glimpse into the mind of a man
who has to remind himself to say “no quid pro quo” and still doesn’t know how to
spell the name of Ukraine’s president."

Let's change the subject! New lie about Obama

"So we have an administration known for constant lies (the liars of Trump)
making implausible accusation for which it has no evidence
despite having a high opportunity and likelihood of having
produced some. Sounds legit!"
-Adam K. Raymond

JUST IN: President Trump, reading from handwritten notes before his trip
to Texas today, refutes Amb. Sondland's testimony, claiming he told Sondland,
"I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo."

The president did not answer questions from the press.

Impeachment Hearing Erupts in Applause as Rep. Jackie Speier Cracks
That Trump ‘Has 5 Pinocchios on a Daily Basis!’

At Wednesday’s House Intelligence Committee hearing in the Trump
impeachment inquiry, Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX) opened the can of
worms when he began his questioning of Gordon Sondland by entering
a Washington Post “Fact Checker” column into the record.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...-whistleblower-has-statutory-right-anonymity/

"Schiff’s statement (on the whistleblower's right to stay anonymous)
is on the line between Two and Three Pinocchios."

The case for Two:
The ICWPA provides a confidential process to report concerns, and some
observers say it gives whistleblowers an implied right to anonymity.
Outing the whistleblower could lead to the sort of workplace retribution
barred by law. The whistleblower filed his complaint to the intelligence
community inspector general’s office, which is restricted by statute from
disclosing his identity (though other officials are not).

Impeachment testimony-

“I don’t know why our colleagues on the other side of the aisle…”
Speier began, but Conaway interrupted, asking “Will the gentlelady yield?”

“No I’m afraid I only have 3 minutes and I have some other issues,
but thank you,” Speier replied.

Conaway carried on anyway, noting that the article Speier just read
from contained the passage Speier had just read, and that
“there’s three Pinocchios in spite of that conversation.”

“Well the President of the United States has five Pinocchios on a daily basis,
so let’s not go there,” Speier cracked, to big laughs from the crowd.

The new lie was just a blip-

All the Obama books, filling all the offices!

(nope. Did not show us all of the books.)

Walking It Back (Where is the proof ?- Ah! The same principle as
Ukrainegate- No proof is needed-just say it, and the negative
publicity is sufficient damage- ie; Just say you are investigating
Biden and Hunter.)

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham backtracked from
comments she made Tuesday that Obama administration aides left
behind taunting notes for incoming Trump officials when they
handed over their offices in 2017.

Grisham (Huckabee Sanders substitute) later stepped back from those
comments and said the nasty notes were left only in one part of the
White House that houses press operations.

Obama administration aides and writers pushed back-
(Everyone is earing Smudge the cat masks)

https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2019-11-20/trump-spokeswoman-mean-notes-obama-aides

FFS, Barack and Michelle were very polite and considerate to
Malania and Orange Sludge before and after the Inauguration.
Obama administration and aides left notes of welcome and
goodwill.

OTOH, Presiderp's clowns and trolls are likely to leave horrible,
ugly, stupid notes for the next group to use the offices.

It has all been a pack of lies from Presiderp and his operatives.

As is usual, these days.

Washington Post claims – without evidence – that @realDonaldTrump
shared a “doctored”photo

— Team Trump (@TeamTrump) November 27, 2019

https://www.mediaite.com/news/trump...trump-stallone-photo-actually-wasnt-doctored/

Funniest picture of the week- Sylvester Stallone's head (Rocky) pasted
onto Presiderp's golf pic. Moobs, double tier of spare tires, puffy
McDonald's and fries belly, seen under his thin golf shirt.
Oh, those chubby thighs!

Presiderp's tech bros chose an absurdly obvious image,
American goons that support the Presiderp would instantly
know that the image referenced Rocky Balboa.
(Will we be seeing Daniel Craig's torso, if the Presiderp overdoses, again ?)

Trump tweets doctored photo of his head on Sylvester Stallone's body, unclear why

The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) | Twitter

It followed a Sir Story, at the Florida rally, before Thanksgiving

"'Take off your shirt, sir, and show us that gorgeous chest.
We've never seen a chest quite like it,'"

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/nov/27/donald-trump-rocky-picture-twitter

Presiderp's fan base does not much care, if it is a lie.
They just want to be entertained with story telling.
Their hero made it to the rally, that is all that matters
after the health scare that landed Presiderp in the hospital.

Deny. Deflect. Make a joke about it, and obscure the reality of the last incident.

While the faked image seemed random to many, CBS Digital political reporter
Grace Segers spotted a possible tie-in, writing, "This is a reference to a comment
Trump made at his rally last night where he claimed that his doctors at Walter
Reed had said: 'Show us that gorgeous chest.'"

bodysong- "Everything that Trump touches, dies."

Measures were also taken to make sure Trump’s Twitter account appeared active.
At 8:21 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, @realDonaldTrump sent out an
uncharacteristically subdued message. There were no attacks on
Democrats and no self-adulation. Just a picture of Trump,
the First Lady, and a turkey.

To the White House’s credit, scheduling the tweets was a clever idea
to avoid arousing suspicion about Trump’s whereabouts. On the other
hand, it can’t be good for the president’s addiction to Twitter to be
so intense that 13 hours between tweets is enough make many
Americans start asking questions.

Trump, dependent on the troop discipline that he is destroying

The president moved through the sprawling base in a 15-vehicle motorcade
that included tan Toyotas with soldiers standing in the truck beds holding
combat rifles. Trump was followed into each location by teams of heavily
armed combat troops in fatigues, helmets and night-vision goggles.

This morning our so-called president woke up and struggled into the
bathroom to sit on his solid gold toilet and tweet this.

Breaking news! Donald Trump is a blatant liar!

Because here’s the interview to which he’s referring, in TIME.

This is how the interview ends, and it’s very different from Trump’s distorted lie.

TIME:

When did you first sense that there was a connection between Trump’s
decision to block military aid to Ukraine this summer and the two
investigations that Trump and his allies were asking for?
Can you clarify this issue of the quid pro quo?

Zelensky:

Look, I never talked to the President from the position of a quid pro quo.

That’s not my thing. … I don’t want us to look like beggars.
But you have to understand. We’re at war.
If you’re our strategic partner, then you can’t go blocking anything for us.
I think that’s just about fairness. It’s not about a quid pro quo.
It just goes without saying.

Trump is saying this because it’s a lie.

Not even though it’s a lie, but because it’s a lie.

Because completely detaching his followers from reality is the goal—

one that’s he’s achieving.

"Of course he's a liar. He's the best liar. That's why we elected him twice." Bill Maher referring to Bill Clinton. When its someone we like, we look the other way. When it's the guy we don't like, we get outraged. No wonder nothing changes.

"...it's this kind of psychic tax that's being exacted on the
American people who have to wade through the myths,
truths and propaganda of their purported leaders to
figure out what's going on."

A Psychic tax.

We're all paying it, every single hour of every single day.
At what point do Americans get off their devices and
take to the streets?

- Susie Madrak

Yes, it does hurt people.

Our Democrats in office and Democrat lawmakers are exhausted.
Constant fact-checking, debunking, presenting counter-arguments
that contain facts, truth, and evidence, is draining.

Under Trump's false premises, American tax-payers lose out.

Trump can't be honest about the simplest of things, such as his inauguration crowd size.

Given that, how in the WORLD are we to believe anything coming out of this administration now?

Credibility and integrity do count for something.

Did they forget that lies spout from Trump's lips
like a city fire hydrant loosed in the blistering
summer heat? In fact, when times are tough
and the politics are dicey, you can absolutely
count on Trump to lie.

(see: health care policy, personal taxes, hush money payments,
Russian collusion, Russian interference,

Putin convos, firing Mueller, North Korea denuclearization,
Mexico border wall funding, Hurricane paths, tariffs/trade wars,
Puerto Rico relief, the Bidens, and Ukraine, just to name a few).

If Trump says it, it's inherently suspicious, and that includes
his repeated claims that he would put America first and
get out of "endless war."

Trump's Promise To Bring Troops Home

Removed American alliance from the Kurds,
and moved troops to protect Saudi Arabia,

During a brief Q&A with reporters, the (Presiderp) faced
the obvious question: “Mr. President, why are you sending
more troops to Saudi Arabia when you just said it’s a mistake
to be in the Middle East?” After acknowledging that he is, i
n fact, deploying more American troops to Saudi Arabia,
Trump explained his thinking on the matter:

“The relationship has been very good.
And they buy hundreds of billions of dollars’
worth of merchandise from us,
not only military equipment.
In military equipment, about $110 billion.
It’s millions of jobs.

“Now, with that being said, we are sending troops
and other things to the Middle East to help Saudi Arabia.
But are you ready? Saudi Arabia, at my request, has agreed
to pay us for everything we’re doing. That’s a first.
But Saudi Arabia – and other countries, too, now –
but Saudi Arabia has agreed to pay us for everything
we’re doing to help them. And we appreciate that.”

The Republican made similar comments last month,
bragging about the Saudis willingness to “pay cash.”
Trump further suggested that he sees a direct connection
between the United States’ willingness to use military
force in the Middle East and the money foreign countries
are prepared to give us.

It was obvious that Trump wasn’t responsible for the continuation
of a 26-year trend. Still, it’s relatively rare that big entities are
willing to contradict Trump even on obvious stuff,
and I’m grateful when they do comment, as the CEO
of the ACS did.

Trump suggested today that he deserves credit for the record low

“advances that occurred in prior years.”

Trump repeats his now-regular false claim NATO has announced
there'll be $530 billion extra spending. It is $400 billion in extra
spending over 2016 levels by 2024. Trump is wrongly adding
the $130B present increase to the eventual $400B increase;
the $400B includes the $130B.

Asked if he thinks global warming is a hoax, Trump says,
"Nothing's a hoax. Nothing's a hoax about that."

about how he is an environmentalist.

Trump repeats his false claim that NATO countries' spending

on the imminent danger Suleimani posed.

He said he had to make a “split-section”* decision and Democratic leaders would
have dragged out the process and leaked to the US news
media if he had given them a heads-up before the operation.

Anyone listening to Trump speak, may have speculated that he may
have meant to say "split-second" decision-
An interesting lie, that reveals the truth- there was more than one leader
targeted for assassination. Two sections were targeted.

Last night, at a rally in Toledo, he expanded the threat to “embassies,”
multiple. In a new interview with Fox News, he has specified the threat
as being to four embassies. Oddly, these details seem not to have been
included in the briefing to Congress, which raises the question of why
information is too classified for members of the U.S. government,
but low-level enough to share with the Fox News audience.
